Joe O'Brien has an interesting one in the 600k Ces at the Curragh Sunday (coincidentily won a maiden hurdle at Listowel).
Dawn Rising was 3rd of 4 in the Irish St Leger,2nd in the trial for that before and won the 2m6f Royal Ascot race before that,very classy runs though daddy has one with a very similar profile,a rake of Mullins runners and a few others who were involved in the top Galway handicaps. Still the form looks very solid for Dawn. Dawn himself was withdrawn from an 18k race at Galway citing a going change(good to yielding to yielding) maybe Joe didn't want to risk him for a small pot? A nag though as the forecast is for buckets of rain Sat night all through Sunday. It will likely be heavy and worth bearing in mind if you are looking at the card. Staying no prob. 12/1 best and 6 places, Joe will pull him out surely if he thinks the ground is against? |

Had them 2 very high on my list and as was said earlier in the thread watch the reserves!
I can't get over Dawn 7/2 to win the Ir st leger and 12's for this, ok, 4 runners,an unfit seemingly Krypios would make a case but was sure it was 20/1 at some stage. Radar saying noon onwards tomorrow for the bulk of the rain,it has yellowy bits in it. |

Met a big fellah , rothwell, said he had one for cheltenham next march, will keep my eye open and lay it, patrick was happy until he got gone done in the last. Craic in the town was mighty , chatted a woman up from Waterford, bought her a drink and got so pi55ed she got uglier as the night wore on, told her i was a pervert to try and get rid of her, bad mistake , woke up and she was next to me, feck knows where that was. |
