As long as they pay for it .. I love the fact
That we have North Sea oil .. without it we couldn’t
have taken upon ourselves into this small island
millions of people from all corners of the world
over the last 50 60  years , longer
We would have collapsed into poverty and chaos
long before now … unfortunately TIMES UP , or almost

For once I could wholeheartedly agree with lfc1971 that new drilling licenses is a good thing.

Nevertheless Blighty is still gripped with Declinism with no sign anyone on left or right has a sound strategy to reverse this national decline.

Licences are a good thing if they benefit uk population.

The cost of them is offset against windfall tax?

So we are giving it away.

strange for norman sunak to justify these licences by saying its cleaner getting it from north sea yet he says getting beef from new zealand and aussie if the best way forward although at other side of world.have these countries moved closer to our shores?

Sunak , and Boris did what we told him to do

That puts him , and Boris far above you or anyone else from England Scotland , Wales , N Ireland
or anyone from any other part of these islands ( especially south Ireland ) or Europe or the  world

if it alters course a smidgen it will stop them worrying about climate change - good
Pecker you’re talking nonsense .. what do foreigners think of the U.K. economy post brexit ?
A good indication is the level of greenfield foreign investment .. 5 times larger than the earlier figures whilst the EU
is only half of the U.K.

Nevertheless pd , you are not wrong about
the problems facing Britains economy - and everything else
Although it’s not imo just Britain but Europe also  - although our problems
maybe can never be resolved.
