I paid £6.20 for a pint of Guinness today.
Think I have reached the point of it is no longer worth it. Pub was scruffy, tables unclean and what is it with blokes in their 30’s working behind a bar Crazy never of happened in my day.

Good question.

I once paid £50 for a bottle of wine, which we drank
with our meal. Next highest is about £25.

I won't pay £6 for a pint of pish lager at the cricket.

Happy (ish) to pay up to £5 for nice bottle of beer or a
nice pint. Probably would pay more, but then gets
to point of not going back if its not a nice
pub.

How much are you prepared to pay for the privilege of sitting in a pub? I saw 500ml bottles of Marston's Pedigree on sale in our local Morrison's for £1 last week. If you stay for just one drink you have paid £5-20 for a seat in the bar.

£6+ is fairly normal for London & more if talking about trendy place in centre.
Same as sporting venues, pretty sure was well over £6 at Royal Ascot this year. Everything is contactless now so not so obvious what the price is if not really bothered.

Must have paid £10 at ski resorts, especially in France which seems more expensive than Italy/Austria. Also had a couple of beers in Geneva which were pricy. The bars near Gard Du Nord are expensive, yet seem to have loads of Brits hanging around.

Does anyone still go in a pub to drink? Eating and drinking out if far too expensive in the UK. That's why pubs are closing left right and centre.

I had a quiche and salad and a couple of glasses of Lager last week in Spain for under £10. This was in a bar at a beach. In the UK it would probably cost over £20

Depends where I am.

Gets more expensive the further south you go.

Paid £6.70 twice when down on the south coast last month. One pint though and then I was off.

Vienna is less expensive than Paris and London.

We did the 3 by train 15 years or so ago, and
Budapest /Prague were silly cheap back then.

Been back on city breaks and prices have crept up

3 great places to visit.
