It's easing now as was always going to be the case with the sad cases , the French have been rioting in some form for months ffs, it was getting noticeable so they had to create a controlled narrative

Failed so it's back to news blackout for France

Now they've switched it to supermarket sweep and then being mucky with prices

Tomorrow... We shall wait and see

Love to know what happened to Wagner and their brave, coward leader

The French public have spoken with their wallets. Their sympathy and support is with the police officer believed to have shot and killed the illegal driver/regular offender.

The Progressive Left can't handle this of course. Only THEY are allowed to bankroll all manner of ridiculous "causes". They've seen countless thousands of their own money squandered on all sorts of unworthy and fatuous nonsense whther it's Chancer Journalists who have had to apologise in court for telling lies, or all manner of failed "Law Project" drivel. And of course they helped Buy Large Mansions for persons high up in a now publicly disgraced "race" orgnisation.

A senior French Catholic has warned that dozens of Christian churches and cemeteries are attacked annually in the country, and accused its bishops of trying to hush the problem up.

“Something is happening in French society that's long been neglected but is  becoming evident with these fires", said Stefan Lunte, secretary-general of Justice and Peace Europe. "The country is becoming de-Christianised, and there are people who wish, for whatever reason, to vandalise and destroy Christian symbols ... The long-held strategy of keeping this under wraps simply does not work".

The lay Catholic spoke amid police investigations into an 18 July arson attack on the Catholic cathedral of Nantes in Brittany, for which a Rwandan-born church volunteer confessed responsibility last weekend.

"This is happening in all European countries, but France is particularly affected", said Lunte, who also advises Comece, the Brussels-based Commission of European Union Bishops’ Conferences. "There are satanist cults here, as well as very extreme anarchist and libertarian groups, people often quite unstable psychologically. Individual cases cannot always be explained, but overall it is shocking and depressing."

Lmao, satanists, anarchists ect, no mention of the elephant.

I have to be vigilant for fake news, so I checked this out on French news sites and it is true.
I am really poor at French so I used a translator website to read the articles and this is the conclusion:

An investigation will be carried out to determine the cause of the fire, but for the moment the hypothesis of lightning has been retained.

Looks like no one wants to admit that arson is the likely cause for all these fires.  If it were lightning, why doesn't lightning strike other buildings, such as mosques?  We have had thunderstorms here for a week and I have not heard of any churches being burnt out.  When Beverley racecourse got hit by lightning, there were loads of witnesses and people coming forward with dramatic recollections.  Why are their none regarding these French catholic churches?

saddo, what has been neglected in France and also in UK is the effect of migration on religious beliefs and customs. It is not surprising that people who come from a culture where alternative religions are not tolerated should react when moving to a country where tolerance is backed up by legal protections. In past centuries, heretics were burned at the stake in UK, we read about the Spanish Inquisition etc etc. In some countries such intolerance persists and the mass movements of people from Africa and the Middle East does not always change their views.

A certain religion is all that matters to some folks , everything else is irrelevant ,including people lives
