Jan Paisley liking the pressure on Donaldson tonight.
Him, wee Sammy and Doddsy all squeezing hard now from different angles.
There will be no return this year it seems certain now.
They are asking for billions, they are insisting on the 7 tests, and pushing for no 50 plus 1.
He said effectively they won't return in an ice age unless Westminster takes as above and legislative change.
It's undeliverable, framework will not be changed in any meaningful way.
They will want to wait for Labour to get in now, more EU facing....?
They will hold Donaldson feet to the fire.
All the while economic Ireland(32) soldiers on with the EUROPEAN trade and Sinn Fein might be in power in those 32 counties.
Now the loyalist flags are back and flying over police stations and the likes of Tesco.
It's intimidation, it's chilling, it's disgusting, threatening people outside English businesses and applying pressure to police applicants, marking our territories with paramilitary flags of demarcation.
It's getting dangerous again.
The DUP and the loyalists are the same as the paramilitaries.

Remarkable she made things so much worse when the issue was political prisoners and criminals.
Remarkable she wrote the 1st chapter in making Sinn Fein go to the ballot box and look were we are today.
I am not making a defence for terrorism but they (the hunger strikers) were used as political capital by her and it was shocking and cringeworthy then as it was on the telly the other night.

It’s a matter for the people of NI If they are happy to see increased costs - due to the protocol That’s a matter for them .. of course Republican and nationalists are happy and don’t care about the damage it causes , their motivation is to destroy the U.K. However if political parties in NI are prepared to accept this , unionists should not return to Stormont .. that’s fine

In case you forget Brexit was a referendum And no jobs have been lost in NI due to Brexit In fact NI and it’s people should have been in the most favourable position of any part of the U.K. - and wouldn’t have had to give up anything including the freedom to live and work in all EU countries - uniquely post Brexit . They had the best of both worlds ( an a great advantage on its hostile neighbour in the south ) Any sensible individual who was not blinded by sectarian political views would understand that … and that’s why Irish republicans and nationalists determined to be against it

Dec 5 , 1973 - the day before the UUP, SDLP, Alliance, along with the U.K. government and south Ireland governments met to draw up the Sunningdale Agreement - the Northern Ireland Assembly met This is how Brian Faulkner summed it up :
‘ Paisley arose on a spurious point of order, which was clearly a pre- arranged signal for what followed There was a concerted physical assault on members of my party by the loyalists Peter McLachlan was rugger-tackled by Professor Kennedy Lindsay, fell over the bar of the House and then was kicked in the groin as he lay half stunned on the floor. Herbie Kirk received a wound on the head which drew blood, and all around the benches members were trading punches and struggling Basil McIvor was seized by the tie and half strangled before he hit his attacker so hard he almost knocked him down Once again the Assembly was adjourned by the Speaker in grave disorder
50 years ago … Speculation is continuing to mount over a potential deal between the DUP and Mr Sunaks’ government after the pm told the House of Commons he was willing to ‘ work night and day ‘ to restore the Stormont Executive …

The Government should immediately stump up for a pay rise for Northern Ireland public sector workers – rather than making it dependent on Stormont ’s return, Sinn Fein has insisted.
Money to settle outstanding public sector pay demands in Northern Ireland is included in a £2.5 billion package the Government has offered in support of a restored powersharing administration in Belfast.
