Hopefully Betfair exchange markets for this important political event will be added in shortly?
|
|
By:
We can but email them.
Paulmotty follows them on twitter so maybe he will spark betfair into action. |
|
By:
Perhaps if he is armed with an electric cattle prod ?

Donny, that Sunderland one could be interesting. There have been some weird and wonderful results there over the last seven or eight years.

Strange people in Sunderland.
It's like a different world, even to durham.. |

I wonder which party will be favourite to receive most votes?

Twitter suggests Johnson in Norf East today.
Boris Johnson has been in Whitley Bay today. The Conservatives let Whitley Bay down when they ran the council. Don’t risk that happening again. Vote Labour on the 5th of May https://t.co/tYaTSJAiUT .. |

.. Tories 350+ losses... Disaster 100-150 losses... Disappointing No change.... Hanging on 100-150 gains... Triumph Labour 100-200 losses... Disaster No change.... Disappointing 50-100 gains... Gaining ground 200+ gains... Triumph ... I'd do it by swing. 6-8% expected swing con to lab since 2018 for me. Under 5 is very poor, over 10 and the gold tatt wallpaper is on borrowed time... |

Sutton no overall control at prices around 15.0 are worth a look.

We expect Labour to make a net loss of seats in England [excluding London] on Thursday. This is primarily down to most seats last being up in 2018, when Labour's vote was significantly different to what it is now.
We expect Labour to overtake the Conservative as Scotland's second largest party in terms of council seats. Estimate ranges... https://twitter.com/BritainElects/status/1521959742264029189?s=19 Brave stuff, love to see it! |

2/ Tories & their wider support in media/'think tanks' etc are so intellectually, politically, & organisationally rancid that a change of leader may well not change these dynamics, but there is NO chance of even discussing serious change unless the *trolly" is replaced
3/ Only point of *trolly* as PM was to act as spokesman for the Vote Leave agenda while we pushed everything in a different direction. Once this was 99% abandoned in 2020 the entire spectacle is pointless for all except the *trolly* himself who enjoys riding his bike at Chequers etc 4/ Unless youre someone like Nadine or the Telegraph ('the real boss') or Zelensky's social media crew, it's irrational to prop up the *clown* show any more. Remain/brexit/left/right/political/official, all shd unite in removing pointless fkd *trolly*... Wow.... |

Down to the Tories , What would Starmer do "Take the knee " ? |

A lot of places don't count tonight so things might not be clear cut until the weekend.
|
|
By:
labour to go favourites for the general election tonight and not go odds against ever again ?
gotta be a good chance. never mind johnson's gross incompetence and dire personal conduct the prevailing economic circumstances which are only likely to get much much worse will make it an almost impossible election for an incumbent government to win |
|
By:
Yeah, I meant all the scheduled counting.
Then they kick off again Friday. |
|
By:
Apparently, rumour control says that the London Borough of Westminster could be in play which would be a massive shock if Labour were to take it.
|

Local elections are more hardcore, not yer general
swing voter. It's a good test, but the 30/40% extra that turn out in gen election are the key, and we ain't got a scooby what they will turn up for! |
|
By:
Honesty?
|
|
By:
Also gen election 70% turn out, leaves 30%
who do not. I've never managed to find this 30%. I don't know more than a handful in my life that don't vote,.. Some may miss odd election and plenty don't vote in locals, but all seem to vote in general election, for whatever party |
|
By:
Honesty will be an issue, but likely theres
a lot will turn out for tories in gen election who don't vote in locals, if the candidate or national party can motivate them to do it. Focus groups will be frantic trying to find them ,... Targeted via Facebook could be vital! |
