Gold hits £1915 an ounce, wow, what's going on?

Nothing to worry about
Just the death throes of the banking cartel debt based fiat system
Control of gold market moving from west to east after decades of western suppression to keep the dollar more attractive
There's an oversupply of debt which the Fed needs demand for - it just aint there and the CB's want gold in reserves , not sh!tty toxic debt.

Fed looks cornered atm - inflation rearing again - like it ever went away !
They can't raise - 1 trillion $ of new debt every 90 days lol and they shouldn't really cut either altho I guess being an election year and all that.. if they do it just confirms how many sh!ts they give about Joe public

Murderous greedy printing maniacs for over 100 years now

This will only accelerate imo

Hardly any of the traded gold actually exists
If you haven't got tangible gold in a safe then it's worthless when the **** hits the fan

Problem is avoiding the premium and added extras including storage and safe keeping, some of the high street scum gold traders buy around half the value and sell at half over.

Mining shares a minefield,... Scotgold had a big shout on ere a few years back but went bad real quick, tbh should be in jail but it's legal theft.

Anyone know anything about Greencoat Wind and how it's set up and what's going on, look cheap atm but abv a prob or two, anyone upto speed with this mob?

Used to work for a bullion dealer. Biggest customer’s were dentists sending in teeth to be melted down for the gold fillings, not a pleasant sight a bag of teeth.

S nig gers I said, just in case.

Yes, a good move into silver.

Be interesting when gold and bitcoin fade, because with no yield, liquidity becomes an issue

The only reason gold would come down is because it is overextended in current pattern. A retracement would be healthy for overall chart structure.

But it will resume..  The only thing that truly fades every minute of the day is your purchasing power with debauched fiat currency. And that is also why Bitcoin will continue higher.

Having said all that both assets are moving into resistance territory - even here Gold, close to 4000$ , has as hurdle to overcome and might need to pull back. Silver too has some resistance.

Bitcoin is moving towards the end of the bull cycle from previous years of patterns so you might well see another 50% + down year in 2026.

But..

The game is not the same as before Global M2 has been on steroids yet again- constant money creation all over the world leaving a soup of liquidity which will find it's way to market so who knows if we do actually dip that much..

If you're not beating 10% per annum you're getting plundered for your necessities - yes it's over 10% , forget official inflation stats.

I'm of the opinion that will keep going up the next 5 years

Yes indeed, interest rates falling, government expenditure cut backs, and massive money printing at the same time.

Johnny, short term change for retracement/correction - Bitcoin is slightly different in it's cycle, way more volatility and close to end of bull market if history is your thing so still possibly to get a bad 18 months

Long term only up for both

Your fiat has been dying every day you've drawn breath since birth

Long term only up for all risk assets until they pull the rug from under your feet of course

But you wouldn't know anything about that kinda thing Johnny.. requires educating yourself which we all know you are incapable of

If you use a semi banned word your post goes to moderation

If nobody moderates it then it's auto deleted

Apparently

Some of mine never appeared

triggers the moderation because it's been added for

and thru 4k against the buck

When do you think people might latch on to the impending death/power of the money sitting in your savings accounts ? 5k ? 10k? at what point does retail sprint towards the exit with their wallets on fire desperate for hard assets ?

The central banks around the world have been giving plenty of clues as they dedollarize. Who want's their entire life's work sitting in a bank account losing power of purchase.

Long way to go but like they say..... it happens slowly at first then all at once
