Just been reading about all this caper, primarily because (as others have also mentioned), I've never heard of this Rogan character. I don't suppose he is any relation at all to the late Johnny Rogan who authored various books on Young?
The numbers that are quoted in this article are staggering, and I cannot imagine how these days businesses can recoup their investment in rock stars when rock music has been dead for so long. What's left of the music-buying public can get so much of it for free anyway. And as for striking a $100 million deal with a podcaster, how on earth can that pay for itself? Who could have possibly guessed that lavishing enormous sums of money on a pair of No-Markles with no obvious or proven outstanding talent for broadcasting creativity, could possibly run into problems? They are after all best known for telling fairy stories to Oprah and in some cases easily disproved ones. They do quite seem to like privilege, luxury and other people's money though.
