Operation Dark Winter was the code name for a senior-level bio-terrorist attack simulation .
It was designed to carry out a mock version of a covert and widespread smallpox attack on the United States.

We didn't need the terrorists , thanks science

front page of irish independent today: irish government set to delay lifting of covid restrictions which was initially planned for October 22nd

meanwhile in the UK three months after freedom day cases have been flat

clearly it is very important to keep restrictions in place

Yes our health-care system can't cope .. Big problems for years to come .. Same sh1t different decade

some European countries have struggled with the fear ,coercion tactics
We have to wait , our overlords have spoken
Then booster everyone again .& again & again.
All must comply ExcitedLaugh can't work without compliance

Updates to ‘complete’ vaccination metrics stopping
The vaccination metrics containing "complete" in their name will stop being updated from Friday 15 October 2021. We are preparing for future metrics that will include booster and 3rd dose vaccinations. Equivalent figures for the metrics being discontinued (deprecated) can be downloaded by using metrics containing "SecondDose".

Have you seen a show called saving people at sea? They had a base jumper on there who hit a cliff three times on his way down and virtually snapped his own leg off. The coastguards saved him, and the NHS saved his leg, no doubt at the cost of tens of thousands of our pounds. That's life isn't it, you choose to take the risks that are appropriate for yourself. Sometimes it will go wrong, badly wrong.

I remember a very interesting documentary on base jumping about 10 years ago, on a sky channel that no longer exists (can't remember the name).

Well the documentary cut to to some wise man:

"imagine these two jars on the table. This one represents your experience and is empty. This one over hear represents your luck and it is full. As you make more and more jumps the jar representing your experience starts to fill up; and the jar that represents your luck starts to empty. There is only one way this ends".

Moral? There are many situations in life where "experience" means jack ****.

Very true. This chap blamed it on complacency.

Perception of our own risks is no doubt often out of line with reality. But we must be free to make our own judgements, however out of step or inappropriate they may appear to others.
