can you elaborate? sure. It's DOJ standing policy that a President not be indicted; thus the essential output of the Muller probe was to say, cannot exonerate him (and 13 instances of obstruction of justice were given as examples), so over to you congress (with their impeachment power). That congress didn't impeach him at that point is a matter of politics; the Dems decided it didn't suit their purposes to have the Republicans rally round in advance of the 2018 midterms. But it is a fact that the President is an unindicted co-conspiritor on multiple federal crimes for which other indictees (who worked for him) are now doing, or have done, time. This isn't opinion - it all happened. |
