Meanwhile, a 96-MILE-LONG `TRUMP TRAIN`???

`...It seems like a sick number but according to several sources this car caravan of Trump supporters is a whopping 96 miles long. Patriots of Arizona Trump Train staging rally and after party on 10/25/2020. Arizona Dept. of Public Safety reported this caravan to extend 96 miles long throughout the Phoenix area breaking national records.

Ah, that's everyones dilemma about who to vote for in a stroke! News channel? Nah. Political websites? Nah. Listening to Presidential debates? Nah. I will just go and buy my local rag and it will tell me who to vote for. Phew, thank goodness for thatLaugh

Imagine believing that. The longest recorded traffic jam in history was 62 miles long. A Cadillac Escalade is 5 metres long, so for a 96 mile tailback the line would have to be 30000 cars long, assuming just a single lane. What absolute bollocks.

The only links for this story when Googled seem to be a 404, a YouTube video, an Instagram post and a Parler post. The latter contains an aerial photo of some cars with the road on the left side of the screen conveniently cut off and the right side basically impossible to tell how far it goes back. A quick manual count I did would put the estimate at a few hundred cars. I watched a drone footage video of it and it's literally one road full about a mile or two long and the drone makes 4 or 5 swoops from different angles to give the impression there are loads more cars than there actually are. I calculated this one at about 800 cars, so max 4000 people.

I watched the video you linked and counted 87 cars, plus maybe 20 more at the end of the line. Admittedly you can't see the end of the line, but all that video proves is around 500 people turned up for a Trump rally a week before the election.

That you’ve little idea how to use punctuation? That you wanted us to know it was a lie? In future don’t worry, we’ll already have guessed.

Speaking of that, timbuctooh...

A grand ol' idea just came to me! We should stake our forum existence on the occupant of The White House after inauguration day!

If Trump still occupies the White House after January 20th 2021 -> I leave the politics subforum forever.
If Trump does not anymore occupy the White House after January 20th 2021 -> you leave the politics subforum forever.

You in or are you just fake Trump fan and fake belieber?

Oh give ove. They were clearly a grammatical device to imply that the claim was so incredible, and by definition impressive, that it was surely impossible! Which was then juxtaposed with the two pieces of evidence that you foolishly believed confirmed that it was true. Sadly, like most Trump supporters, you are devoid of any critical-thinking ability so just made yourself look like a gullible mug.

Ok, timbuctooth, since you are obviously a fake Trump fan, how about we switch things and do it like this?

If Trump does not anymore occupy the White House after January 20th 2021 -> I leave the politics subforum forever.

Biden campaign is holding 7 events on election day.
Normally, campaigns don't hold events on election day because you want voters to vote, not attend rallies.
So, Biden voters must not be turning out. That's the only reason you campaign on election day.

They’ve already voted! Anyone committed enough to come to a rally is highly likely to have voted early in person or by mail. They may even be specifying. Although I’m still not sure it makes a lot of sense. You’d want your supporters to be helping get the (by now rather small) vote on the day vote out.

As always, what’s caused the move is sentiment. Hard to see that it can be based on any new information.
