Well, they are certainly testing a lot of folks but it doesn't explain the massive spike in cases in Southern and Western states. Florida, Texas and Arizona are having to shut down again as total cases yesterday reached a record 47K.

am i being thick here, saw the republican governors of texas, arizona, ,and florida yesterday , the anger with trump seems palpable ( might be just me ) particularly abbott( texas ) . Is it possible for trump NOT to be republican candidate in November elections ? ie could he be usurped by party ?

At 1.08 now towards the end of June to be the Republican Presidential Nominee, could be the lay of the year. After all we've seen this year, never mind other surprises in recent years, who knows? If the US numbers don't start to move on a downward path fairly soon, then that debate is going to take place. Is Trump a liability. All Biden needs to do is to keep his mouth shut.
