It's becoming embarrassing now, Boris is being exposed daily as the bumbling buffoon that he is, completely out of his depth and totally unsuited to the most important role in the country.

Johnson is a bumbling, Stumbling bad joke, every bit as bad as the deluded numbskulls that voted him in.
When he first got in many were willing to give him a chance but thankfully it is becoming obvious that his time is up with them and Starmer will fight out the next Election within 18 months. The smart money is on Starmer, but Rishi could run him close but the hard fact is racism could spoil his chance although Rishi is by far a class above every other Tory bar none. Starmer comes across as the new Blair and hopefully he has the Blair nous to win a string of elections and while the usual suspects will scream a load of nonsense and completely dismiss the cold hard fact Blair was a winner and that is what its about. so let the serial losers shut their mouths and understand that leaders have to do things and tackle problems that require an ending that is for the greater good. |

I think you might be a little premature on Rishi Boi,
Without a doubt the Furlough or Job retention Scheme was a Godsend for 10 million of us but it is a double edged sword stopping the Country getting back to work and the cost is unimaginable. Prime Minister Cummings will be looking for a Fall Guy and clear and present danger is indeed Sushi Bumcrack. As The Government look to allay the blame for their abject failure over the Corona Virus the delay will coincide with the economy tanking and the covid will be forgotten and blame for the state of the economy transferred from Dorris to Rishi Boi. There is a long way to go to make an election call I would say. The money men will have to replace Dorris and I think Hunt might also be in the picture as a safe pair of hands. Little Rishi might also see the wisdom of letting the ship go down before he Captains it! |

Starmer has made a habit of using his final question to force Johnson in to a serious answer where his usual rhetoric will not wash.
Johnson has noticed this and couldn't resist the temptation to play to the galleries. Sums him up. |

Moondan,
I'm afraid you are completely deluded if you think that the next GE will be before 2024, let alone within 18 months. There are two ways this could happen, and both are very, very unlikely. First chance is that Boris calls an early election - not going to happen. Second chance is that the Tories depose Boris, running the risk of a GE and up to 100 of them losing their seats - absolutely no chance of so many backbenchers risking losing their seat on the gravy train. Just because you desperately want something to happen doesn't actually increase the chance of it happening. |
|
By:
No chance of a GE quite right but every chance of replacing Dorris. The Tories have form.

I go along with that PP more substance and class was present
I still think that a few still remain in the tory party but are sidelined by the likes of Boris and Hancock. Those 2 in particular have about as much class as a pair of Baghdad sewer rats. Present day conservatives think it is part of the game to lie and cheat and shame on us brits allowing them to get away with it. |

These are strange times and unusual happenings.
In more usual times there is no way the Fat tub would have even been in the running and I do not mean brexit. Corbyn was the disaster for labour and the childish manifesto that had the country laughing louder with each passing day. This time the country is coming to terms with the realisation Dumbo is just that and many conservatives cannot believe how bad he is. No way will the senior party members allow this to continue. If they do not act soon the joke will be on them and that will not happen. Rishi is waiting in the wings and his grasp of detail is obvious unlike Boris who between his vanishing acts turn out to be a clown of the first order. The Virus may have years to run and is another reason why most will rather have a safer pair of hands running the show. Starmer is no back number and will outclass the bumbler over the weeks, for me it is a 2 horse race, with Starmer being a beacon of truth and how the country needs that. Rishi obviously is in that class but maybe his time may come later. |
|
By:
Moon, they will never have Rishi as PM imo........the tide will turn against him anyhow, more chance of being the fall guy i reckon......

pecker
Race is his biggest hurdle for sure but these are unusual times and he ia a very impressive figure, for me the most impressive across all parties. I think he is nailed on oneday to lead. Obama got the big one in the states and it has always been said what happens in America happens here a decade later. THe other reason is the present day MP is about as bad as you could get, certainly a all time low in quality and it has been coming for years. For me Blair stood out no matter what a few say and a sure winner. Rishi is second only to him in the past 30 years and as whispering rightly says the Tories hate a loser and will do whatever it takes. I would love to see Starmer get his chance because this country needs a government that forgets nobody and looks for the greater good. Tories by and large are greedy and to a man and woman are bought and paid for. And it shows. And if not correct the imbalance this country will erupt. |

maybe rishi has peaked too early? ok giving the sweeties out now but wait till he is taking them back plus the interest for giving us them.anyway you cant have a norman wisdom lookalike as PM
