Hi everybody,
As you all know, any vote for the main parties is a vote to remain in the EU.
The only party that wants to leave the EU, is The Brexit Party.
Sadly Nigel Farage made a blunder and pulled 50% of his candidates.
Now, if you want to vote for Brexit you cannot, unless The Brexit Party are standing in your seat :(
If you vote for one of the main parties you are voting to remain in the EU.
If you abstain, you are saying you are not bothered about who wins the seat.
The only way that your vote can count, is by spoiling your ballot paper.
And the reason it is counted is because when they announce the results they say how many spoilt ballot papers there were.
Now, imagine if everybody who wanted Brexit, and the Brexit Party was not standing, spoilt their ballot papers, you could have, "IN THEORY", 50% voting for parties and 50% spoilt ballot papers.
This protest vote would show the general election is invalid and should be run again.
THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO PROTEST!!!
So, how to spoil your ballot paper. Please see the image of my ballot paper which I will attach in a separate post as they may not allow the image.
Just in case they do not allow the image I shall describe it.
On the ballot paper I found a space where I could write "The Brexit Party" and put a box that I could put an X in.
I hope all the people who want Brexit will do this and send a clear message the we are not happy that we cannot vote for Brexit.

I want you to imagine the TV news reporters saying "there was a large number of spoilt ballot papers, and something very strange, they had the brexit party added to the ballot paper with an "X" in the box!!!"
yes they may say that....maybe you could repeat the act in the second referendum when the choice is remain or virtually remain......and they may even have an article on newsnight…...not sure how that helps you get your Brexit though.....
Let me remind you. If you vote for one of the main parties, you are voting for remain.
Farage should never have pulled candidates from the election if he believed that. Instead he decided to not oppose the Conservative Party and trust them to finally deliver it, like he did after the referendum. He also trusted Labour to deliver it initially as well.
i don't believe you are correct krusher…..but as i said before how does your protest help you.....
I hope that if enough people do this the news media will start to communicate to the populace that there is something wrong with the voting system.

We do have a Brexit Party candidate but i agree this is a good way of showing your disdain for the main parties.
The Official Monster Raving Loony Party is always an alternative if they field a candidate in your constituency.
just seen on TV someones voting slip, it showed a line through all of them and said "none of them"
