does that vote today count as MV3?
Report SontaranStratagem March 29, 2019 5:36 PM GMT
It was Meaningful Vote 2.5

She's going to bring back MV3.0 next week ?
Report SontaranStratagem March 29, 2019 5:38 PM GMT
She's still not budging

She's without doubt the most scummiest PM of all time
Report yajyaj March 29, 2019 6:07 PM GMT
Actually punter that's a good question, it was a vote on the withdrawal agreement as per the rules,so I guess it counts as mv3, however the other market "will mv3 happen" obviously suggests it didnt happen, what you reckon sont ?
Report politicspunter March 29, 2019 6:39 PM GMT
This, from the main bbc article...

This was not a third "meaningful vote" on the PM's EU deal, which also includes a political declaration on future relations between the UK and the EU, and which has previously been rejected by larger margins.

By holding a vote on the withdrawal agreement only, the government had hoped to secure a short delay to Brexit and avoid the UK taking part in May's European elections.
Report yajyaj March 29, 2019 6:43 PM GMT
yes happy with that, it looks pretty clear its going void, given you can still back the number of "ayes", and the betting pattern on the other market, but that aside the rules of the bet in question suggest it wont be void, what am I missing
Report yajyaj March 29, 2019 6:47 PM GMT
Will the House of Commons vote through a government motion to approve a EU withdrawal agreement at the 3rd MEANINGFUL VOTE?

This market refers to the 3rd meaningful vote only. If this vote does not take place before the 30/03/2019 this market will be voided. Any votes on amendments to the motion do not count

For the purpose of this market any vote by the House of Lords does not count. If the House of Commons vote through the government motion on a EU withdrawal agreement then Ye
s will be settled as a winner.[/i]............... forget the name, what exactly hasn't happened

It didn't happen and didn't count for the rules. No won on MV3 by 30/3 and these markets on the result will be void when it doesn't happen by tonight.

Report yajyaj March 29, 2019 7:40 PM GMT
88 yes, doesn't bother me ,just interested why ? it was a "meaningful vote" on the "withdrawal agreement" and in the date specified
Report n88uk March 29, 2019 7:49 PM GMT
The rules stated it had to be the complete thing, ie. with the political declaration, it wasn't.
Report yajyaj March 29, 2019 7:53 PM GMT
I didnt see that, I will look again, thanks for now
Report peckerdunne March 29, 2019 7:55 PM GMT
Honestly,can you hear Bercow.

Did someone mention significant change.
Report yajyaj March 29, 2019 7:55 PM GMT
Ahh cheers, "section 13 bit", was going crazy here, knew it was void but couldn't see why # blind fecka Happy
Report LASPEYRES March 29, 2019 8:52 PM GMT
the rules were amended last night. mmmm
Report yajyaj March 29, 2019 8:53 PM GMT
Actually saw that, have no idea what was changed but assume it was the future arrangement bit
Report politicspunter March 29, 2019 8:54 PM GMT
I see that. It seems the fairest way to resolve it.
Report LASPEYRES March 29, 2019 9:03 PM GMT
seems weird to leave a market trading today that was bound to be misconstrued?
Report politicspunter March 29, 2019 9:08 PM GMT
They would be unable to void it before the "closing date".
