Lol some people obviously didn't bother reading the govt motion tomorrow on no deal. Yes on the market has just gone from 7 to 1.13 in a matter of minutes.

mrs may thinks she can try again with no deal off table and an extension but erg/dodds have already tabled a motion to delay to may 22
but for the eu to grant that to may and erg/dodds it means EU opening up withdrawl bill and moving more on the backstop,that would be a huge climdown for EU and throwing Dublin under the bus, think they,ll only offer a deal on soft/customs Brexit,2nd reff,gen e, don't think they,ll offer an extension of 21 months say just so may can try and blackmail mp,s and resurrect her deal for a 3rd time, [ either ] |

It's because the motion is worded "this House declines to approve leaving the European Union without a withdrawal agreement." So the House will agree with the motion, hence "yes." Now its 1.07.

Maybe somebody with a bit of cash needs to bribe one of the smaller countries to let us leave by refusing the extension.

The general consensus is they will grant us an extension of like 8 weeks to do who knows what.

if just one refuses extension then you cant have it, the malthouse compromise allows free movement doesnt it, one of the main reasons for leaving the eu

The Malthouse Compromise Plan B talks about a transition period after no deal for Britain to get ready, something already flat out rejected by the EU. There is no transition period without an agreement.

just another unicorn ,commons repeatedly voting for things the EU wont allow,meanwhile in blighty mays keeps refusing to offer legaly binding votes on things that may get a majority in the commons,
a nano second after boris mentioned basically the malthouse compromise in the commons during yesterdays debate ,barnier who,s listening to every word went on twitter to say forget it no chance whats really getting my goat is the likes of zhwani on newsnight last night,not so cleverly on news today blaming labour, with a mixture of 75 tory remainers, erg and dup,theres no way any tory including mrs may wanted that vote won last night on labour votes,we,d now be talking no confidence votes,leadership battles,GE,s, complete lying bluffers |

without the dup and 20 hardline erg voting for it said a million times before but as labour are in disarray and need torys to be in equal disarray to have a chance,why don't labour throw a dup fox into a tory henhouse and vote the deal through it will almost certainly get them the GE threy say they want and split the tory party |

I guess because they have calculated Labour would not win a majority and would have to take charge of Brexit. It they then refused to stop freedom of movement they would be out of power forever as they would not be able to win outside London again.

ammendments are often not moved, because they are tabled as a device or threat. once the mover is content they get what they want from the vote there becomes no point in advancing the ammendment to a vote. |

I think that this will inevitably lead to revoking article 50 as the EU will never offer an acceptable deal after that.
