Is it just a case of no one wanting to lose their jobs in the insane PC world?
Or a long term agenda to start a civil war?

What does it mean, tiBPo?

"Liberal"?

Is it something to do with Freedom?

The BBC is not liberal. It supports things like the EU which is a non-democratic tyrannical organisation. It also promotes quotas rather than freedom to select.

It is one of many terms "progressive" is another that are used by some to try to dupe the population into thinking that anyone whose views don't conform to theirs must be a fascist.

bit of a gulf between your "explanations" there OP.

The BBC is generally an impartial source of info, however they like all media organisations suffer from producing dumbed down material in an attempt to chase ratings or publicity.

I have to agree that some of these terms are hackneyed and over-played.
They seem to have lost any sensible meaning.

A bit like "awesome". Happy

I still think liberal must mean something to do with freedom. Can't really see the connection with the BBC myself, but, what does it matter?
By:

You could interpret liberal as meaning a willingness to accept a range of views and behavior which certainly does not describe the BBC. They are the biggest champions of PC thinking.

Are they , Sage?

I still have not understood what is this here "PC" business.

Is it some sort of kowtowing to the Law?

A bit like that Ashers' cake fiasco?

C4 ain't the bbc, is it Cat?

Ye seems a bit muddled there, bruv.

Point is , the globe is ruled by big business rulers. This includes the media.
But, as CAPITALISM  is a competitive CONFLICT-BASED  system, DIFFERENT FACTIONS have different agendas, though, fundamentally, they all want to make a lot of money.

The upshot is that the working class - the vast majority of mankind - loe out bc of this.

So splitting hairs about different tv shows don't realy make a lot of difference.

Wrong channel 4 is a publicly owned company.

Channel 4 is a British public-service television broadcaster that began transmission on 2 November 1982. Although largely commercially self-funded, it is ultimately publicly owned; originally a subsidiary of the Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA),[1] the station is now owned and operated by Channel Four Television Corporation, a public corporation of the Department for Culture, Media & Sport,[2]

I haven't even got a telly, so I'll take your word for it. 'Tis hardly a concern of mine. I know the score and don't be whinging about how unfair the system is. We have to accept that it is bad and wuill be till we change it.

I'm still right to say C4 is not the beeb, am I not? Confused
For the little it matters.

-

doc,

does what ye copy and paste mean that Channel Four is RUN BY THE MINISTER OF CULTURE?

ie. STATE CONTROL OF A MEDIUM?

bTW, which one of your gals is this Minister? I can't keep up with all the tory losers.

sean, in reply to your questions with the exception of the last.

the station is now owned and operated by Channel Four Television Corporation, a public corporation of the Department for Culture, Media & Sport,

Can you please tell me which part of that do you not understand?
By:

When: 07 Nov 16 17:16
Yes, is there a Minister in charge of said Dept?

If so, does this Minister nominally head up the business?

For instance, if ye were in the army, would it be the case that the Ministry of Defence headed by the Defence Minister is in nominal command, second only to the Queen?

C4 has become even more biased than Auntie Beeb. They go to massive lengths to distort and hide the truth about the religion that must not be criticised, investigated, or debated in any way shape or form.

Channel 4 certainly is pro Islam. They're shockingly biased towards it.
