I could fancy a p6 v8 in good nick just for stuff like going to the races but I have no interest in fixing the things myself so it puts me off after my prev experiences with big old cars

|
|

But I would prefer a Jensen Interceptor over a P6
|
|
By:
yes
fair enough but do you know these old rumbling monsters - the p5b coupes ?? something else - they are superb but no practical value of course but for fun (not practical) but fun - get a bmw mini for whizzing around town. |
|
By:
I'm not really that familiar with them, I've been reminding myself on carandclassic, I prefer things with a more caddish feel
pah practicality doesn't come into it, if you want that buy a second hand focus and paint yourself grey |

I AM TOO FKN OLD
MY GIRLFRIEND TELLS ME I AM I have lots of cars but hardly ever drive now for fks sake!!! ha ha enjoy it while you have it meanwhile I am taking none of this sht the media gone mad - its a media mad fest of total irrelevance when whoever gets in I am more interested in the price of classics , cars , paintings, collectables (jugs, bowls, art in general) No longer interested in the fight for equality and you can bet that the good old tax payer will get fkn hammered every time and have to work even harder. when i was writing i was chucking out crap in the 70s about the soon to come 30 hour week now we are facing a family with both parents having to work to keep- head above water now how the fk did that happen coz when i left school it was never like that you work it out |

Election to cars, love it.
Worst car - Austin 1100 - decided to catch fire while siting in rush hour traffic. Best car - it's old hat now, but it was my MK2 Jaguar, walnut interior, cream leather seats, manual change, 3.8 engine, pillar box red, spoke wheels, 2 spotlights, one on the front, one on the roof. Set a record in it that my mates never beat, and no car can beat it today due to speed cameras. And by fack did it pulled the birds I still drive a Jaguar now, but racing and bird pulling days are long gone. ![]() |

meanwhile 70 dead as they sift christians from muslims as they slaughter them in Keynya - all waiting for you in towns in cities in this country and no one## NO ONE - prepared to confront the issues coz they need the votes to stay in for another 5 years fk britain plc and say a 30 year plan for prosperity etc |

I had a go in Mk2, was a bit of a bus handling wise but was cool. Had a 60s muscle car for a while, was like a high speed tractor compared to the xjs (had that up to 140 on the m74 once
