Do you know what date the cut off / move over is scheduled?


Looking like I will lose my pokerstars username as (obviously) I have a betfair account and we are forced to close our pokerstars accounts and use Betfair account with a new name.

Bit of sadness to lose the username as it has 21 years of history and some golden memories.



Writing the above has sent me down memory lane... what a great journey, I propper veni vedi vici'd it and span my first and only ever deposit of £50 upto a 6 figure profit. (most of it in the first 7 years, the omg easy years)

When I first started there was only one tournement per hour and softest of soft 10 seater sit & go's.
Just incredibly soft, I was playing so sploshed one night I fell asleep waiting for it to start after I'd registered and woke to find I'd placed 3rd without playing a hand, winning 2x entry.

esc you'll probably be able to keep your pokerstars username if you want. download pokerstars on betfair, sign in with your username and password for betfair exchange, and you'll be asked to choose a nickname, you'll likely to be able to get it then
i couldnt, because my pokerstars user was the same as my betfair login user so ive just gone with this username instead

Made a long post last night but it got auto-modded by the AI....advise copying any post before sending so you can tweak it to comply if it is sent to the bin.

Played in a cash game last night right up until they closed all the tables (won 2.5x buyin on the very last night )... I had to be there and raise a glass of whiskey to toast the highlights of 21 years at stars.


I'm going for a new name, the regs won't realise who I am for a while, new era.

P.S. logged on tonight, Not allowed to play, only allowed to withdraw, it's all over bar the bank transfer.

Inactivity kick out happened to me twice...I think it is activity in the Lobby it's checking (bug) ...you have to go into settings (could be diff term used) and change it from 20 mins (?) to 24 hours...can't remember how I found location of settings ...Betfair should change the default to 3 hours at least (I'm on a Mac desktop )...You can now download the App...appearance looks the same as old PS platform.

Note to any engineer looking in : Glitch on Iphone App(Android also ?) ...if you get sat out or disconned there seems to be no way to get back in without deleting App and re-loading it.

you'll be allright. just log into pokerstars uk, and withdraw your funds there. i withdrew from uk app on the night, and have been happily losing my betfair balance since

What happens if I have a Betfair and a PokerStars account?

If you have both an active Betfair account and PokerStars account, you can continue playing on Betfair with your current Betfair account details. You will no longer be able to play using your PokerStars account.
Any PokerStars poker assets such as Tournament Money and Tournament tickets will be consolidated and converted into cash for you to withdraw. You will only be able to access the cashier section of your PokerStars account to withdraw any remaining funds.

What happened to my PokerStars UK account?

If you didn't have an active Betfair account, we transferred your PokerStars UK account to the Betfair platform. You will be invited to log in using your existing PokerStars credentials.
Any balance in your PokerStars account was transferred to Betfair on the day of the move, where it will be administered by Betfair on behalf of PokerStars. You'll need to review Betfair's Privacy Notice and accept Betfair's General Terms and Conditions before you can play PokerStars on Betfair.

There may be a glitch because of the merger and they don't know how to solve it yet.
