bwin are having the same problems and they're with the ongame network as well.  So defo ongame is the cause.

If the entire Ongame network has crashed they will settle MTT's the same way as usual with you getting percentage of prize pool based on chip count/ number of players still in.

You deffo wont get first place prize money if you were leading.

There is a breakdown of how payouts are made published in the T and C's somewhere.

what chip fire says seems a bit more reasonable, but why can't CServices at least say something!!

Hi, I did misunderstand, I have found a complicated calculation in terms and conditions which explains how a disrupted tournament is settled.... don't ask me to explain it :(

Hi chip.

You sound as fed up as many other players. Just wondering if  there are any other meetings planned with Betfair and yourself and Dave.Or have yourself and Dave resigned yourselves to the fact it is a complete and utter waste of your valuable time,

Hi hennigan,

It's been nearly 5 months since the last Q and A, which were meant to be three monthly. I have asked a couple of times whats happening with them and been told we will get back to you.

I ran a series of "Helpdesk tests" late Decemeber/early Jan, where I was contacting the Helpdesk with various faults, complaints, and queries, then feeding my findings back to management.

As you would expect the service I got ranged from bad to downright horrendous.Essentially I did what they asked, I provided them with evidence. I dont think it went down that well.

We had a comittment from them that whenever there was an outage they would post a service announcement of this forum ASAP, and this would be updated every couple of hours with the present position. This happened for a while but seems to have been completely abandonned. It certainly didnt happen last night.

I met some nice people down there, they all talk a good game, but as I've repeatedly stated, online poker is just a tiny percentage of their overall profit, and appears to be something they run because they have to, and not because they want to. Unfortunately the people who genuinely want to improve things, like BF PR, don't have sufficent power to make the changes necessary, and seem to be up against a management that are running the company for the shareholders and not the customers. As long as BF has a virtual monopoly on the betting exchange, I cant see anything changing on the poker front, especially while they stay on a second rate network.

Providing customer service/helpdesk is something the company has to do, but it eats into the profits. Like most globals they have outsourced much of the work offshore, to keep it as cheap for them as possible, and they dont have a dedicated poker helpdesk. As a result many of the queries are dealt with in Malta by lowly paid bods with minimal poker experience/knowledge, and most disappointingly, poor leadership that dont seem capable of communicating with either their own senior management or Ongame.

Where does that leave us ? Well at the moment they still provide soft games and decent traffic, and as a result decent players will still want to play here. Unfortunately outages and awful customer service are the occupational hazards of doing so.

Bf used to get about 80% of my business, they now get about 20% and I doubt I will be alone in switching my business elsewhere.

As for the Q and A, I've got a great job, and 2 fantastic kids, and poker has mainly been a recreational activity. Going down to Hammersmith is a 8 hour round trip, which I've done in my own time, for no finacial reward, but I cant really continue justifying using up 4 days annual leave, plus the time spent typing up my notes, posting them on here, and answering queries or chasing things up for people every year, for something which doesn't appear to be working.

I can't speak for Dave, because obviously he does a lot of bits and bobs for BF, and speaks to folk there more than I do, so he may know more about whats going on than me. However last time I did speak to him I got the impression he was nearly as hacked off with it as I am.
