Hi all, when you reach certain player levels of the promotion who finds it easy to understand? Has anyone received any merchandise?
Live tourneys tickets? Free multiple bets? I have been a "master" for over 6 months and nothing, cannot even see the ticket for the monthly freroll yet? Anyone got any positives? Betfair is an excellent company but when you ring them up about poker no one can help and they cannot put you through to the "poker team" as they except no calls! As for boosters what are they all about?

These live events do happen. more recently (last year) in the UK they have been held in glasgow, nottingham and london.
As for the boosters etc ... its properly complicated but there is a detailed thread on it somewhere!
Free multiple bets - i think they are annual offerings - but not sure.
However - betfair poker does have a lot of value circulating in all types of promotions for all players so it is a decent place to play poker.
Merchandise - if you go to one of their Betfair Live events - you will certainly get some. Maybe BetfairPR will have a look into this for you!

I can only advise you on the Live Tourney. These take place once a year and are open to anyone who has achieved Masters status in the previous 12 months, irrespective of your subsequent staus.
The last invites went out in August/Sept 2011, so if you got to Masters status 6 months ago you just missed the event. The good news is that you will be eligible for one of this years events, even if you were to stop playing the site tomorrow.
Last years events were held in London (one in October , one in November) and Nottingham ( October) and all were the same format I believe, no limit holdem MTT's with $10k in prize money. They only attracted about 40-50 runners each and this included BF bounty players. There is a free bar, free food, the events are well run with proper dealers, and a good structure, you can even bring a guest.
The downside if you dont live near the event locations, is that you have to pay your own travel and accomodation costs, so for someone like me living in the North-East, train and a hotel was £150. Luckily I scraped into the money and broke even on the thing, and had a good time to boot. I even got to sit on the same table as the Legendary Keith A and his golden retreiver lever.
If you live in London you are laughing.
