I've been playing in and writing about my exploits, or lack of them, in all the GSOP events for the Betfair Blog. Although I couldn't get a $5k seat I managed to bag myself a $525 mini Grand Slam seat so thought I'd try to live blog it for something a little different from usual.

One full orbit completed. Nothing to report on really. Just raised to 60 UTG+1 with AdKd and received no action at all. Meh.
Doing my best origami artist impression at the moment, though I did just open to 60 with As2s and folded to a three then four-bet.
Hand just gone open to 90 UTG (blinds 15/30), two folds and a due playing 12k calls. SB calls, BB folds. Flop Kh8c9d, SB checks, I check, initial caller bets 200 and we both fold.
Probably a little weak to be honest but less inclined to c-bet there against two villains this early in proceedings. Do you c-bet there?

10,500, not getting anything going but just won a nice pot with QJ. BTN opens to 125 (blinds 25/50) and I call in BB. Flop KhTd3s, I check, villain c-bets 150 and I call. Turn is the 2d and we both check. River is the As and I decide to lead for just 225 and he mucks.
Just saw a nasty hand KK vs QQ blind-vs-blind that, shock horror, kings won. Left the guy with queens with just 748 chips.

Just lost a big pot. Guy opens middle position with a min-raise to 160. I call in BB with QhJh. Flop 7hAsJs, I check, villain bets 185 and I call. Turn is the 6d, I check, villain bets 400 and I call.
River is the Jd and I check again. Villain bets 895, I Hollywood for a bit and check-raise to 2225. Villain pauses and calls with pocket sixes for a boat. Yeah thanks.

Dropped to 6200 after making a bad call when I knew I was beaten but then the poker gods (amen) decided they liked me and let me flop and ace then turn another when I held AK and some dude thought his 88 was good on an A34A4 board
Back to 11.7k. Opened to 240 (blinds 60/120) with AhQh from hijack, BTN three-bets to 588 and I call. Flop 3s4dKd. I check, villain bets 677, I call.
Turn As. I check again, villain bets 1,311 and I call. River is the Ts and I shove for 5,332. Villain pauses, enters timebank and folds.
Next hand guy to my direct right opens to 300, I make it 890 with 99, he calls. Flop AQ6, he checks, I bet 2/3 pot and he folds. Easy game.

Second break, good level considering I was down to 6,200. Now up to 11,811 with average being 11,601.
Currently 184 from 512 (594). This could, hopefully,take some time.
One guy on my table has $4.3 million in online winnings, another has close to $830k, the latter has three-bet me a few times and I had already labelled him as solid. Understatement of the day I think.

Up to 18k. Guy with $4.3m winnings opens to 500 UTG with blinds 100/200 I three bet in CO to 1165 with AsKs. He calls. Flop 3c4c5s he shoved 4.6k into 2.6k pot, I am a big fat Yorkshire fish and call, he shows 88 and I turn an ace! Ship!
FML, moved tables and got p0cket00 yo my immediate left. If you do not know who he is just let Google be your friend! Sick was a word invented for this man.
Not much happening ATM, just picked up KK and opened to 425 from MP. p0cket00 called and I did a little poo. The flop came down Ad3x2x I c-bet and he folded!
FFS, now Chris Brammer,has joined to the immediate left of p0cket00! He's ranked second in the world for online tournaments BTW!

Raised with As9s and get called with three spots! Not to worry because the 7s6s8h flop smacks me in my fat face! I c-bet and fold two villains out. The turn is the Jd and we both check. River is the 5d and I lead with a 6150 bet into 9,300 and take it down!
Raised it up with JsTs, flopped a jack, check-called a bet from Brammer, c/c blank turn, and I hit trips on the river! Up to 43k!
Yet another break, this could go on forever!

1st hand back 15BB guy open-shoves from MP, I call in BB wiht jacks, up against AK, ace on the flop.
Moved tables, just OPRd them and Jesus Christ, what a bunch of sickos! I'm definitely the mark at the table.
Still in, got 128k, blinds 1000/2000/200a currently 8/88(594) with 82 paid. A min-cash will be my biggest score ever, sad but true
I open to 5,300 with KK in EP and it folds to the BB and he moves in for 55k, I snap and he shows 22. I flop a set and am now on 183k!
