A random question for seasoned players, sorry if this has already been asked and I am well aware that this happened many moons ago, but why and when did betfair poker switch from £GBP to $USD? I remember the old system with the green table and none of these silly characters. I also much preferred, and found it easier, to monitor my balance both in poker and exchange games in GBP. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

I've played on all 3 betfair poker platforms and don't ever remember it being in £'s. It must have changed just before i started in 06

Yeah, I am delving back into the archives. A very simple green top table and card graphics and 25/50p stakes! It's just annoying for me because I play unders games on the football exchanges so I find it difficult to watch my balance without having to jump to XE everytime I want to play. I wasn't even aware that was an option chipfire, I'll have to have a look through the settings in more detail.

Every site I play on I disable all the nonsense like cartoons.

One of the things I like about BF is the clean look to the table, although I dont like the bright yellow cards.

In settings in the top right corner in the lobby I unticked sound, show hand value, animations, and avatars.
