Sounds pretty similar to last year from what Klup has said, about 600 players playing for 2 packages.

At least you get a bit of notice this year. Last year finals were a few weeks before the event. You got $1500 for flights and spending, but flight was £800 booking last minute, so you were out of pocket before you set off.
Thats assuming your boss would give you the week off at short notice.
You also got 2 events last year, this year only one, but obviously they are giving away more packages this time.
Its still a good promo in my opinion. Standard will be bad, and if you get past the crazy first hour, you should get to the later stages.
