how do i become a big time trader?

To get a £50 free bet I calculated I would have to wager around 2 grand in 10 days.

To this end, I have been having around 25 x £10 bets every day. There has been no method to my madness, largely I have just been randomly backing every favourite on the horses, and topping it up where needed on Sports. Greyhounds clearly not the way forward. With 5 days to go my P and L stands at :

Greyhound Racing: -£51.94 | Horse Racing: £111.58 | Rugby League: £6.91 | Soccer: £41.90 | Tennis: £13.38  Total P&L:  £121.83

It's one of the dumbest things I've done in ages. Ive had 100 horse racing bets in 5 days, and somehow shown a profit.

Dunno, I clearly have mental health issues.

I went to Bury last Tuesday night for a mid-table League One fixture.

I did that forgotten towns thing a couple of years ago, where I basically went around the UK at the behest of the poker forum, visiting places I'd never been to, like Walsall, Aberystwyth, Inverness, and Barnstaple, just to see how forgotten they were.

I sometimes play golf despite hating it.

I still play poker on Betfair.

I just do dumb sh1t all the time.

When I was about 7 one of my friends asked me how far I could walk, and I couldnt fathom it out, so I just set off and kept walking for about 6 hours. At that point I realised I had no idea where I was or how to get home. I was also fking starving.

I'd managed to get about 14 miles before the police picked me up, which was pretty impressive.

Managed 14 races today before leaving for football at Huddersfield, racked up 97 points in the process. Reckon another 65 x £10 bets in 4 days should crack it.

Another decent day yesterday with a profit on just under 40 bar, has left me on 822 points with 3 days to go. My target is 960 so another 30 x £10 bets should do it.

Unfortunately I had to go to Newcastle today for a job interview meaning I missed the days racing leaving me with a wretched Wolverhampton evening card and my nemesis...greyhound racing. This is where it all goes t1ts up.

As expected an utterly horrendous evening, where getting 65 points has cost me £126.

Total so far looks like this :

Greyhound Racing: -£146.78 | Horse Racing: £144.07 | Rugby League: £6.91 | Soccer: £41.90 | Tennis: £13.38  Total P&L:  £59.48

Just under £60 in front with a further 73 points needed which is another 18 x £10 bets I reckon before this wretched thing is completed. Thankfully with no further dog betting required I might still break even.

If I thought this was an utterly, utterly, pointless exercise before hand, I can now see it was even more pointless than that. Asking someone who bets in fivers and tenners recreationally, to wager around 2 grand in ten days is just sick.

Another winning day and slightly upping stakes, meant I only needed a further 12 bets, I even managed to claw back yesterdays greyhound racing losses, and finish about £140 in front. Even by normal standards a really dumb promotion, aimed at lunatics.
