Missed a week I was on holiday, Whats this weeks?
|
|
By:
This week is 3 x £100 bets on the Masters. No multiples, but other than that you can bet on any market you like including those in running. All winnings added to totals, no deductions for losing bets.
I know nothing about golf but probably cant do any worse than I have on horses and football. |

€50 win and €50 place on Brandt Snedeker! I mentioned top 5 to clarify the place part of the bet. If it's any conciliation, I'm watching The Ring on my own as punishment! |

Will update post Masters once I can bringmyself to look at the result without feeling suicidal.
Challenge ends this week with a £100 bet on The Grand National ! |
|
By:
what position will get you a polo shirt chips?
|
|
By:
I hope Brightonaremagic put his bets on in real life !!
New table should be interesting after the golf - now to the Grand National. Play it safe? Or go Big? brightonaremagic: P Hanson £100 @ 5.4 L OOSTHUZEN £100 @ 7 B Watson £100 @ 11 All Win only |
|
By:
Surely a post that late into Masters - before the first tee off - is a bit late.
Tho if I'd known that I would have waited for 3/4 of the tourney to have been played before placing my bet. Good luck to Brightonaremagic if allowed. I've got to go big on Grand National. I expect I'm second bottom just above chip. |
|
By:
Sorry - after the first tee off...
|

Those genuinely were the prices on the off Nick.
Obviously some of us were on OOSTHUZEN for real @ 24 and point blank refused to lay off near the end because we felt Bubba couldnt possibly win, what with him being a horrible, chokey, pink driver using ****. The advantage of playing late with a 4 day event is that you are on a player who is in contention. The downside is that you dont get the fancy odds. I suspect a few who backed Bubba to be top 10, are wishing they had gone 50 e.w. in the outrights instead at Ascot prices. Burton as BF PR cant win a prize, and some wont want one, I can guarantee you a polo shirt for finishing in the top 4. |

Table after WEEK However many we've had ( feels like forever ):
Keith A +1574.50 BF PR +1217.19 Brighton +1036 Burton + 826 HF +672.50 Wonky +335 Bruce +286.25 Aidfur +285 J Love +74.08 gnash +32.43 Nick -63.28 Snap -100 de1 -103 AJ -182.66 Geezer -186.75 poopy -200 SAFC -227.28 KLUP -343.64 Chip -600 Obviously even with just one event to go, technically anyone apart from me could still win the thing if they find a 20-1 winner of the National. However with the Golden Lever functioning brilliantly, it does appear to be Keith A's title to lose. There's a Betfair hoodie and more importantly extended bragging rights to the eventual Tipping Challenge King, and polo shirts and baseball caps for anybody posting a decent score. Sizes are Large and XL because thats what I was sent, and I will do my very best to get everything posted within a couple of days of the final event and anyone wanting a prize contacting me as long as I can afford the postage. I've never sent anything like this in the post before and have no idea what it costs, or what sort of envelopes to use ! ![]() |

Thats OK mate. You are doing well on this. And well played the Brighton fan. Still we beat them 4-2 in FA cup some years back. The eldest nipper on my shoulders for 90 minutes. Torquay offering £20k for Jamie Ndah when I think they wanted our other striker. And then Mickey Droy our manager at the time quoting on match of the day that he was worth only 5 match balls and a set of training bibs...
I should have gone for wins for my lot from the off. Genuinely first Augusta last day that I've watched for years. Fantastic albatross and Bubba's recovery at end from horrible tee shot. And then all the blubbering. Nearly made up for the horrible suckouts I had at the end of a couple of tourneys on sunday night. Looks like I'm looking for a 40/50-1 national winner. You may need a 100-1 shot. |
|
By:
Perhaps not... 40/1. Just to show how little I understand this betting lark.
What are the odds on race being stopped by a nutter protesting? And is that bloke that stopped the boat race still in custody? |
|
By:
I'll pay the postage chips should I be lucky enough to stay in the top 4.

Chip - If I win I want your 888 hoodie ;-)
PS Keep the receipts for postage and I will pay you back |
