Fck knows how, but the only thing I managed to win from his radio show tonight was the privilege of starting this thread about a proposed "home game" hosted by John "Kunkuwap" Tabatabatabataibai (i thinks thats how you spells it?)
Details are very sketchy at the moment but it is likely to be somewhere in London, not in April, and thats about it. It is not designed as a replacement BFWCOP or anything like any other Home Games that were run on here, but just a small meet up of a few of the community/ambassador game regulars to have a game or two and and few beers.
Thats all I have at the moment. Discussion, ideas and suggestions please...

I think the nearer you get to The Olympics, the more expensive everything in London is going to get. We've got Charlton away last game of the season again, and even though it's only May and we are booking the weekend up early, the hotel prices seem to be double what they were last year.
The idea though sounds decent in principle, assuming he has a big house.  On a related note a Sunday Night forum game should be up and running soon, just ironing out a few final details with Thrappers and BF PR, details to follow shortly. Anything that gets people together has to be worth trying IMHO. |

Loads of block bookings for Olympics, and run up events. I think I'll get as far away as possible. But yes knock on prices. Though you could try this area. Short train ride to waterloo then out again and I reckon it's cheaper. Journey is fine. |

We stayed in Croydon Travelodge last year.
 Only took about 40 minutes via London Bridge to Charlton, and was about a tenner each for the Saturday night. |

Kim and I, would most definitely be up for a game in London. Would be awesome to meet John again and the regulars, aswell as some new faces. For a frendly game and a few drinks in a club would be more realistic than a home game. Home game would be good, but who would have 20/40 people in there home ?
suggestion: Bounty hunter tourney would be good,and the person who wins the most bounties wins some betfair merchandise and the £`s for each bounty. |

Dunno mate, stayed in the Novotel at Hammersmith last time I was down. Out of my depth there like.
£2.50 for a can of coke in the Mini-Bar in me room, but there was a machine down the corridor selling bottles for £1.60 !!! Are rich folk really that fkng lazy ????? |

The staff at Hammersmith are gonna love you inviting 40 degenerates into your offices for a piss up.Its bad enough when two of us show there for meetings. I'm sure they thought I was sizing up the gaff for a burgalry the last time we were down there.
Perhaps Thrappers can meet them at the tube station, and impress them all with his eye patch sat nav gadget thing. |

this is a quality idea! and yeah should only be for the people who are regulars for the kunkuwap show. if not itl just be another betfair live haha. buy in should be kept reasonable. not all of us are as lucky as bruce.

I haven't played Kunku's game due to limited funds (and playing like a donk) but for anyone attending give at least 2 months notice to book cheap flights and accomodation.

I dont play it that often due to work committments, but like many I suspect, I wouldn't be up for it anyway, due to the cost of getting there and staying overnight. I cant see the Serbians coming over for it either, so the number may be more manageable than many suspect.
Pretty sure the BF offices could cope with 20 or so players quite easily. Theres only 40 or 50 play it most weeks, so shouldn't be a problem. |

ok this is what I have so far then:
1. Limited to players who have played in the kunkuwaps ambassadors challenges this "season" (ie the last couple of mini leagues since 16 Sep 11). Probably 20 at a stretch, more likely about 8-10. 2. Apart from any fit birds who want to attend. 3. In London. Either BF HQ or Fox Poker Club. 4. STT, perhaps with a bountyhunter element. 4. Probably a weekend, not in April. 5. Goodies supplied by Betfair. Pretty much sorted then. |

I think BF office sounds great as long as we don't have to leave too early and we are allowed to have a few beers and bloody marys.

AJ why not make the same as others play over 5 weeks top 10/20 win a seat
to play live for the £1300 prize pool.They could add prize on JT head on the day. Also if you dont win any money till the day that would stop people playing who could not go.. |

I did try to get this idea off the ground but am running out of time as I go away with work on 31 Mar for about 4 weeks.
Unless we can do it before then - and I will need some feedback from BF and JOhn to see if that can be done, I would prefer if it were done at the end of April or after. |

Lets provide some time for Betfair to sort their end out and make sure everyone has time to make the necessary arrangements so aim for middle to end of May ?

Looks like a fantastic idea, Recently new to BF Community/Ambassador games but I have found them very good fun and recently met up with a few players in Prague. Nice to put a face to a name and have a chat.
