Went down to Sheffield in the car with my eldest daughter on Sunday to drop some stuff off at her Uni digs. We made the basic schoolboy error of both assuming the other would fetch C.D.'s for the car journey, and as a result were left with the choice between the very slim pickings her mother had left in the glove compartment, or just talking about music.
To cut a long story short :
Bands most likely to listen to whilst playing : Mogwai, Exposions in the Sky, Sigur Ros.
Lucky albums when playing : Life by The Cardigans , Howdy by Teenage Fanclub, or Dummy by Portishead which only goes on when Im at a final table.
Artists I will never willingly listen to whilst playing as it would put me on Life Tilt : Foals, The Killers, Foals, Michael Buble, and Foals.
Sits back, opens popcorn, and awaits Forums horrific taste in music. ( Hopes Keith A posts on thread.)

My daughter is 21, I play football in the Sunderland and District over 40's league, and I can remember a time before central heating and colour tellies. 
I frequently find myself listening to x factor and american idol while playing poker.

Yes, I console myself with the fact my kids don't like X-Factor whenever they are hammering either Foals or Los Campesinos from every room in the house .

Thanks for telling us but I don’t like music while playing poker because my full concentration is on the game.
