In storm as well 90 odd thousand runners. Will be at least 100 thousand after later reg.

Game is capped at 150,000 Nick which may just fill. I haven't played a hand, everyone at my table is gambling like mad, hope they keep it up, I'll gladly settle for 2nd.

I'm not playing the "bigger" game, I emptied my bankroll on Stars for XMas and am starting to rebuild again (stupid bankrolling but I need the money). I've never cashed in the Sunday Storm in 5 attempts, I usually get donked to a bad beat. The good thing is the structure that allows for good play so I'm confident it will pay in the long run.

I was one of the first out of my freeroll (2004 with 1,000 runners.) I played badly myself shoving 55 on a 346 flop while my opponent flopped trips. Only a 1500 starting stack so I felt I had to gamble.

Edit, just lost TT v KK to a short stacker who was all in every hand. Down to 4k

Not played on stars in at least 6 months but reading this thread has tempted me to play the storm. GL guys

2 hours late reg Wing, my table has settled down a little, I'm up to 5750 chips - folded QQ on a K88 board my opponent claims he had TT but he raised in SB and he's played even tighter than me. I think he'd AA or KKK TBF.

I'm out of the big one i pushed with pkt 9s in BB while the Button was trying to steal with AK o now i'm in The Bigger $11 .Gl

I will try and satelite into the big one next week. Been trying and winning 2 every 4/5 weeks then playing in the warm up instead.

Hated every millisecond of playing on stars. All in or fold in all three tourneys. Even when i win 2 hands back to back, i only seem to have 5 bb's left in the next 2 mins.

That said ... $10m seems tempting to play though. Not sure i like the idea of playing through the night vs 80,000 people

I'm still OK in the Storm at 2nd break, 8.5k in chips, most of the crazies have been KO'd but I never got any of their chips.

Anyone else in this?

I never try and satellite into bigger games, it's hard enough winning one without having to play 2.

I'm still in. Got off to a bad start but have got back to 5k at the break.

I always find the steps system is the best way to get into the Sunday biggies.

Thanks Wing, I still have 1 crazy at my table. He lost to a bad beat and went down to 4k and just kept pushing every hand regardless - he now has 54k. Maybe that's the way to play. I have 12k now.

I use HEM and my PFR is 1% in 100, I haven't had a need to raise (or a premium) everyone else has done it for me. The standard in this is abysmal, I'm not complaining but the inevitable bad beat will happen.

I check raised. If I'd have normal raised the flop I'd have got away from it but I expected my opponent to bet the flop so I though check raising would take the pot down. I never thought about my call to his reraise, it was automatic and big mistake. It was on a new table as well so an even bigger mistake, it seemed a tight table and I wanted to control it.

I keep saying to myself I won't make the same mistakes but I still do.

I probably have not given it enough time - the look and feel just puts me off. All three tournies I was in yesterday - there were just 2 moves "All-in or fold" and im not joking.

I finished 16th of 906 in a $55 rebuy and picked up $480 for it, with $15K up top. I went out with JJ vs KJ vs AK all three of us all in pre. KJ shoved 180K, I reshoved JJ for 320K and AK called 308K.

board came: QQ8-T-A

so totally dominated KJ wins the hand :)   but IM NOT complaining in the slightest that i lost the hand or got KO'd one hand later as i did suck out with A9 vs AK about 20 places earlier. However it seriously was the most retarded online poker night as even with 320K and in third place, I still only had 12 bb's and that was about the first or second time in the tourney I had as much as 12 bb's!!

I invested $1 in a satelite for a $11 satelite whith  1000 seats GT for the 10M game..
I got my seat. what I find odd is that the sat is at at 18.45 . I expect 25000 runners + .. The MAIN  event is at 19.30 ! However there is 3 hours of late registration.

I'm playing in 2 password protected games in the next couple of days with 10 seats added in one and 6 seats in the other for a low buy in, hopefully the numbers will stay low and make it a big overlay.

838th for $81.48. I've run for longer and deeper in what they used to call the 1/4m.

Never got the stack needed to go deep with this. The largest stack on my table tried to isolate me with jacks (I had been pushing 35% of hands to lots of folds for 20 mins). I had also called and sucked out with garbage in those last 20 minutes (pretty much committed to calling 97% of hands in either of the blinds. He pushed all in for 80bb only to find the 2nd highest stack calling with AK. No triple up for me.

But yes the play was poor on my table for at least my last 2 hours. Reminded me of the strange things I see in MTTs here.

Made more on multi-player stars sit n goes than I did in that tourney. Though lost about the same on sunday on Betfair.

As for this Sunday. Nearly got there on 1 of the 3 satellites played this evening. Will try Thursday. Bound to be others at the weekend.
