like what he said....how we paying for the team game?

also, what time does the club open and how fast can they process new members?

A) Buy in to team event will be available in the Betfair tournament lobby soon. The holding tank was requested last week. The more 100% confirmed entries we have, the more pre organised we can be.

Where there are some difficulties for players to register - then speak to me by MSN, email, or phone and we will make arrangements to ensure everyone is registered. We will allow registrations up until 1.30 pm on the day, and then close it off to finalise the teams. MSN or email : dinos@iloveplayingpoker.com  Mob: 07841 191937

Buy in to main event will be on offer in the DTD shop, but there wont be any need to pre buy in to that as im sure we will all get in. They would not have late registration if the expected it to fill up.

B) The club does process them reasonably quickly (3 mins per player?). The club doesnt usually open this early to the general public when their main event starts at 5.30 - so we will not initially be swamped by non Betfair types.

Doobs

I requested that it was structured so that it lasts 2 / 2.5hrs.
Dusk till dawn recomended it based on the 2 / 2.5hr guideline. 15 levels in 2.5hrs

We could squeeze it to 12/14 mins. I will take your advice, but I didnt feel qualified enough to question simon trumpers proposed structure.

Me, Joffy and any others from newmarket now doubtful.Main reason is it's the same weekend as a silly local game of cricket which means travel hassle and virtually no accommodation available.

I will probably be driving anyway, but that test match clash is a bit of a blow Sad

I could probably get a few half way back to newmarket, but am going to struggle to commit if I am gone in level 1.  People should note the £100 tourneys are re-entry now.  I think it is first 4 levels, so klup should be budgetting about a bag?

I missed the previous message, 10 minute blinds are fine by me. Messing around with the levels will just mean it will be a different kind of cr apshoot.

10 min blinds? isnt that like 5 hands a blind when you play live

Clash with Test Match is a bit of a blow - and something i was not aware of but I also dont think the hotel issue is insurmountable.

Here is a link for hotels through trip advisor:
http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g186356-Nottingham_Nottinghamshire_England-Hotels.html

Of course premier inn have got capacity at their hotels (DERBY EAST) 12 miles away at £49 a night. If sharing thats £25 ... if a few of you book same venue, cost of cabs can be brought down as well.

The travel aspect is an issue at all -
1) Dusk Till Dawn is it is NOT in the center so you dont have to go into nottingham city at all
2) We start at 2pm, so need to be there about 1pm. All people going to cricket will already be in the ground.
3) The test starts on Friday so some of the traffic to nottingham will be more friday orientated.

Re-Entry
The Dusk Till Dawn RE-ENTRY system allows players that have been knocked out of the tournament to buy back in for the same price, and take another shot at the prizepool, adding to it as they do so!

Different to a rebuy, the RE-ENTRY system allows players that are knocked out to buy back into the tournament with a brand new set of chips.
There will be no chip penalty for players that choose to RE-ENTER.

RE-ENTRY for the Super 50 & Incredible 100 (1 Day Events)
RE-ENTRY is available for all players knocked out, providing it is before the end of the late registration period. As of Saturday 11th June, any players that opt to re-enter will start the tournament again with a full 10,000 chip starting stack.

No disrespect intended AJ ... but I Love Playing Poker is sponsoring the Main Event (We are adding £1000 to the prize pool) so I am fully aware of the buy in conditions. It will NOT be a RE-ENTRY or a REBUY.

It is 100% a Freezeout. The tournament was agreed and set up before DTD changed the format of their incredible 100 games. They actually also increased the buy ins as well and now normally start at 2pm. But because ILPP was already running promotions with main event buy-ins included and details advertised, DTD and ILPP agreed to apply the original agreed:

- £112 buy in (£100 + £12)
- Freezout (NO reentry or rebuy)
- 10000 chips, 30 min clock NL HE
- 5.30pm start, with late registrations till 8.15 pm permited

none taken Klup.

Their "Whats On" list and their "Upcoming Events" banner on the website still says its an Incredible 100 game though with 20k Gtd.  I would have thought as you were sponsoring it you would at least which to advertise the fact.  It does say its £100 + £12 though.

Dinos and all. Move me from probably to no/doubtful.
I'm only coming if it rains for the first 10 days of my holiday in the Lake District. So that's a coin flip.
Of course if its raining (and I mean p***ing down/or floods of biblical proportions) in Nottingham for 10 days before there may be a few vacancies as cricket will be off.
Internet access/wireless is very volatile in the place I'm staying, and the most reliable cafe will shut down at 9pm so I will not be trying to win a seat.

I'm sure it will be good and look forward to the next one.

The idea was for us to stay in the city centre for the evenings entertainment. After all I was planning on getting knocked out the tourney within 1 hr and heading into town.

With the cricket theres no city centre hotels available which doesnt really make the trip look that attractive mate especially as theres racing on at Newmarket,

Thanks for the sort of lift offer doobs :-).
