You were spot on about Murray. Have to admit he changed my view and opinion of him about a year ago and I became a fan. I had my first tennis bet for years when I backed him at the US  Went to the O2 last year for the end of season final, saw Fed vs Djok. Had to get to see my hero before he retires. P.S You did also say that Fed would never win another major.... he picked up another 3  So how's tricks mate? |

another old 20 30 50quid sng player signing in here.play live mostly nowadays(once twice a week) I do play alittle on the horrid ipoker software but not much.never thought we would yearn for those old cryptologic days, with the likes of dr loot returning rois of the minus 60%

There was a French guy played 25$ STT nearly every day , ever so polite at the tables, but horrific player. Think he lost about 25k in 12 months. Aye, memorable days.

I remember the days where there were 30 players waiting to get onto plantpat's table(think it was that, defo plant something)was always a interesting table where he/she was playing!

and did the tinnitus get better? yeah everyone seems to like murray these days  been lucky enough to see wimbledon mens semis the last 2 years now. also saw him win queens 2 years ago and a match in madrid back in may, so along with other wins i'm quite the lucky charm off to brighton norwich friendly tonight, lots of new signings and should be a good season. not a bad 4 years since getting relegated to league 1! |

The Tinnitus is still bad mate but definitely learnt to live with it. (Thanks for remembering :) )

Having been the 2nd bf poker forumite to be accused of kidding fiddling (after Squidy!) the KenBarlow alias had to be ditched. Having converted to Islam I reappeared as the former leader of the Taliban.
Remember having a great time at the first bf do at Gutshot in which I think I predictably min cashed. Spent this last weekend with Dubai/Hawko/Sunday8pm at golf and darts in the north west of England. It was predictably messy. They are still all completely bonkers and in need of more help than Frank Bruno. |

hi p0peye here ....very rare if i play online nowadays..lost any belief that the board cards were in any way random so couldn't bring myself to play any meaningful games.
Also I believe the online companies ruined the game by pushing out the well structured games in favour of turbos/hypers etc losing the skill factor-turning players into gamblers. I still enjoy the odd small live tourney at the Norwich poker club along with Toongal aka myst1c. good luck and well done to any still making the game pay xx |

First time I've looked on the poker forum in years. I'm old school enough to not remember my username on Crypto.
Seeing the list of names posted by midastuck is a trip down memory lane. The only one I know in person is reactive, who I met up with in Dublin. Nice to know we're not all dead yet! |

good old McCoy Carp..still here.After having had it for 5 years Betfair decided that my usename GHADDAFFI was offensive and made me change it.I changed it top Sir Jimmy Saville, the knighted hero. unfortunately people could deal with bad runs , nasty rivers and losing money... but a name tag that did not please them, no , that was to much to bear. so betfair reduced my alias to a number.I My rake must have been about 5k a year. They lost that so that they can please some pc do-gooder.

first time looking in years was surprised (pleasantly) there was an old school thread.
never posted much but always read the various threads managed to luckbox my way to 2 London freerolls Betfair ran, second one upstairs from some dodgy boozer The first one was strange format - I think if you entered each weekly comp you made it on entry points alone - still have my 3rd place Betfair branded poker set |
