The current plan is to have the STT PLAYOFFS and the STT Grand Final will take place on Sunday 30 May 2010.

1) Playoff STT final at 4pm; 30 May 2010 (2000 ***** 10 minute blinds)

2) STT Grand Final at 8pm; 30 May 2010 (10000 ***** 15 minute blinds)

Yes chief - Its an online final. But there is a weighting system to slightly favour teams that finish higher up in the league.

Also if the STT points between teams are tied after the finals - the team that finished higher in the MTT league will win.

Im sure we can make a plan - there are some players who cant make wsop (because they are under 21 or whatever, so we are offering alternative options). The idea here is to get a good team event going. Absolute worst case senario is you sell your seats.

On a lighter note - glad to see that you and your mates expect to win just by registering ;)

We had to do it this way, otherwise it would have affected cakeback and we dont want to do that now do we??


1) Buy into/register for the iloveplayingpoker WCWSOP holding tank before 4pm (GMT) on Tuesday 9 March This is already up in the lobby under registering.

IF YOU DO NOT BUY INTO THE HOLDING TANK - YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REGISTER INTO THE MTT EVENT

2) After your registration in the holding tank, at 4.05pm (GMT) on Tuesday 9 March 2010 you will then be able to register / buy-in into the MTT event proper. The game is in the lobby, currently in the announced area.

C8_KRW - the holding tank is there to pool the money that goes towards the main fund.

so its $25 into the main fund and when you play the MTT, you buy in to that for $25 + 5.

There was some sort of issue concerning cakeback and collecting funds for the main prize pool. Im sure once we have done it once or twice it will be fine.

Yer got that bit mate, Just dont trust BF but time will tell.

If we meet the guarantee then cashing is unlikely to be an issue. Worst case is that we offer an alternative local package.

We need about 17 teams to make the guarantee - we have 13 at the moment and two more are being set up - guys are getting mates together to play.

So we are nearly there.

Things are really brewing up nicely now and our first MTT event is in the lobby.

Captains - please ensure your players follow these very important steps to ensure you do not miss the first event and lower down we clarify a few things regarding the series:

Firstly
- Register for the $25 iloveplayingpoker WCWSOP holding tank. The holding tank closes at 16:00 hrs on Tuesday 9 March 2010. You MUST register in the holding tank otherwise you will not be able to register in Event 1. Registration for the holding tank is now open.

Secondly
- Event one $30 iloveplayingpoker WCWSOP Event 01 (currently in the 'Announced' area), opens for registration at 16:05hrs (GMT) on Tuesday 9 March 2010. You will have to register for this event once registration opens

The reason why the game has been set up like this, is to avoid issues relating to**and automated payments for these individual events.

This registration process applies every week - so please bear this in mind. Captains - kindly liaise with your teams to avoid disappointment.

One question. What are the rules regarding team play within the MTTs?

The same as all Betfair poker rules.

This is not intended to be a collusion fest and players who collude inevitably run the risk of having poker accounts closed off - but that of course is a Betfair issue.

The Team Event element is aimed to enable friends to get to an event such as WSOP together - it is not intended to be a chip passing mission but it would naive to think that team mates wont, at times, soft play when heads up in a hand.
