i sadly know the feeling.
they miscalculated my cake once, allegedly overpaying me, and the emails that followed drained me of the will to live, so i gave up the fight as the amount of money i was after wasn't worth deteriorating mental health and anguish caused from suffering them. not to mention i was worried their stupidity would rub off on me. and as you said, it was the lies and half truths that was the worst thing. |

And then did you determine that one way or another you were going to cost Betfair in excess of 100 times the amount of money they owe you by making sure the site had to complete mutliple administrative tasks and answer multiple phone calls, taking up staff time? :-| |

I'm still in the early stages of puzzlement and annoyance, with one very specific question asked several times, and answers coming back - zero. To be honest I do tend to bear a grudge. I was let down by a builder 14 yrs ago. I still occasionally ring him up and send him on a wild goose chase. |

SLAP my** then ** ON IT my carer said i was very good and a clever boy and in the mornings she puts me in my chair and spoons me breakfast i dribble cant help after aksident carer says i used to feed myelf and help myself and myself but i get confused and have to sleep a lot and we went to the park today and saw a dog and a birds and went we on a bus when my legs hurt lots today but too much medcin makes me sleepy and we went home for my birfday party i am therty 2 today nd carer says i can use compter after cake after birfdat cake i can use compter and i have a hat for my hed to lean frward and oress the keys with to type and crer moves weelchair to desk anf and i move head into keys to type words like now yay smiley face in the shops we bought some savory rice y dont they have unsavoury remeber when i cood walk and yalk properly i miss me sum times but i have cake now and cos im good computer yay smiley face so i nod my head and computer works for carers card game and it says i have a 3 and a too and i am a 3 abd a too and its my 3 and 2 birfday so i oress the cool button for lots of counters go in the middle and he has a big A and another big A then he has AAA but i win win i win i win happy bithdy to me i win

I started requesting daily cheques from betfair a few years ago, think your only allowed one a week now. But they just used to process the first one and bump the rest back to my account. |

One puzzle is that Betfair do read these threads, (I know because I got into trouble for copying in, an email from them) - and yet nothing improves: nothing. They must see on a daily basis what a laughing stock they've become, but just kind of accept it. If I was as bad at my job as these clowns, which thankfully I'm not, I would be absolutely mortified to see it laid out in public the way it is. But Betfair Poker - it's like, 'Shrug. Yeah. Whatever'. |

The have lots of poker related vacancies advertised.
Maybe they have a high turnover of staff, maybe they get frustratd that they can't make changes. They seem intent on trying to expand customer base rather than improve. |

At least most of you have had played poker for years. I have only played for barely five months and Betfair's customer service (it isn't) is even more terrible for beginners. I have just phoned them about a mtt and she did not know how many rebuys, add ons there were and when you could rebuy etc. The information was not on the site and I have only played a few, months ago. She said she would call me back ( they always say this, but never do), but surely she should know this simple question?

Ever so slowwwwly, (4 cheques arrived today sent 1st class), taking my poker money out of Betfair and heading elsewhere. Good luck Annie with Betfair Customer Services - but frankly, you're doomed. They don't have a clue; and worse still they don't care that they don't have a clue. Good luck at the tables to those staying amidst the teams from every backwater of Europe. |

Totally agree, lisa, that is what annoys me as well. They do not care that they are rubbish.
I started playing poker in September and the site was terrible for beginners, so I rang them thinking they would help but all you get is ' I don't know, I will have to forward on your query and get back to you ' - which they don't. How can a customer service department not know how to deal with an enquiry from a beginner? It is the same now, if I do not know something then they don't either - so what good are they? The things I complained about are still not fixed, five months later. |
