From the prem poker coverage

Luke Schwartz came back and looked down at the JJ . He limped from under the gun and then David Benyamine limped beeind from middle position with the 65 . vanessa ROusso checked her option in the big blind with the 34.

The flop came down 952 and Rousso checked after picking up an open-ended straight draw. Schwartz bet 30,000 and then Benyamine thought about it for a little bit. While he was thinking, Schwartz started going on about how Benyamine was angling him. Eventually, Benyamine made the call. Rousso called as well.

The turn was the k and Rousso checked. Schwartz thought the card was so sick and talked about he hated it. He eventually checked over to Benyamine and told him to go ahead. Benyamine was tanking and Schwartz was needling him into betting, saying that if Benyamine bet, he's move all in so fast, Benyamine wouldn't know what hit him. The dealer than warned Schwartz that there was three players in the hand and that he needed to keep quiet.

Benyamine then bet 123,000 with just his pair of sixes. Rousso folded and Schwartz began going on about how he thought Benyamine just smacked a pair of kings on the turn after flopping a king-high flush draw. After a minute went by...

"F*** it! I'm all in! F*** it!" Schwartz announced, splash-shoving his *****across the line into the middle. "With my heads up game, I'll beat anyone in this PartyPoker!" he yelled out as he stood up just after shoving in. Benyamine quickly folded his hand and Schwartz let him have it.

First, he walked a little towards Benyamine and pumped his hands at him, celebrating that he won the hand reading the situation correctly. "In your eye David Benyamine! You just got so pwned!" he yelled out.

Schwartz paced around as the dealer pushed the pot his way. "Thinks he's 10 years older than me so he knows!" he went on to say and then left the tournament area for a few moments before returning to his seat.

Posted before about this tool. He is so arrogant beyond belief and has achieved a fraction of what Bennyine has done. He has no respect for anybody and his 'uber cool' attitude reeks of insecurity.

I personally cannot take anyone seriously who looks like Pob. :)

karma on the final table,

After going from chip leader just five minutes ago to now being on the brink of elimination, Luke Schwartz raised it up to 80,000 with Q2 and would get called by David Benyamine who held a dominating Q8.

The flop would be cruel to Schwartz putting him in an awkward spot coming down 53Q. Benyamine coyly checked, allowing Schwartz to bet 70,000. Beyamine then raised it up to 210,000 and after a few seconds Schwartz moved all in for 480,000 more.

This move sent Benyamine deep into the tank, as he pondered whether or not to make the call. The longer it took, the more confident Schwartz got thinking for sure he had the best hand. "He would have called by now if he had me beat," said Schwartz. Phil Hellmuth commented that the confidence Schwartz was showing, thinking he was ahead could possibly prompt a fold from Benyamine.

Finally, Benyamine slid the *****into the center and Schwartz proudly announced he had a queen, only to see it was no good. "Why'd you slow roll," Schwartz said to Benyamine. "That's an easy call."

Schwartz then pleaded the dealer to peel some sort of card that would help his chances for a chop, even offering up $2,000 for a winning three.

The turn card was the 7 eliminating any chance at a chop, and now Schwartz would need a three, and only a three to take down the pot. It wasn't meant to be as the 6 hit the felt.

Luke Schwartz graciously shook David Benyamine's hand and congratulated him on the victory. Schwartz takes home $200,000 for his efforts this week for the runner-up finish.

(sorry for the spoiler if anyone was looking forward to it on tv in a few months time)

If only Benyamine had thought to offer to shake hands then withdrawn it and done the thumb to nose wiggle the fingers routine my day would have been complete. :p
