Same player? 3 accounts?..or more (maybe 20!!)?..Suspect anyway.

I play in thepP*s Pokercast Tourny on a Sunday and they regularly get players with names xxxx1 thru to xxxx20 from Russia and Brazil especially

there was 7 different nonos guys in a torney i played last week!!

Surely if they were going to collude they would choose different nnames.

Email 'pokerinfo@betfair.com' I did when 2 greeks were colluding on my table. It was blatant. I added them to my find a player list and saw them doing the same on other tables. Have never seen them playing again. Betfair did sort them.

the romanians arent that intellegent and they would probably think its clever for them all to have the same name sort of a club if you like. i would say they r def colluding on a level of some sort, ive been asked by friends of friends when they have found out i play on line if its easy to do and they tell stories of groups of friends who do it, what we call a small amount of money they think is a fortune so to win a couple of hundred a day is a massive amount

I wouldn't trust a romanian let alone a group of them.

Remember sharky and his crowd? Five of them all descended on one player one day who had a decent stack on 5/10. Apart from sharky who occassionally played at that level, all the others played 0.25/50 and 0.50/1. Also, the amount of time it took between folding, raising and the 4 bet folding etc, it was obvious they were colluding.

It took ages before betfair banned them depsite loads of complaints. How it wasnt obvious from one instance and they werent banned for it, I do no know. I lost faith in betfair after that. I think Betfair is probably a colluders paradise as their fraud department is so bad.

my friends and employees know that they are from a country that is backward and behind the world in everything bar corruption in high placed jobs, at which they are very good. But when it comes to something like this they wouldnt even consider taking different names as it would just complicate things, being called nonos would just make it easier to recognise and find each other and not have to remember different user names. Most Romanians are from exceptionally poor backgrounds and have poor education, its only the new generation ie under 30s that have had the major advantages and even they call they forefathers stupid and ignorant.

I think this subject has already been covered recently - these are most likely to be agents or shops where people who have difficulty funding accounts can give cash to an agent who loads up an account for them.

I guess Romanians have difficulty funding due to a high risk of fraud, so this is dealing with cash.

The agent mitigates the risk of credit card chargebacks and caters for those who don't have a bank account like WillHill use Quickcash, like Western Club uses an agent account with Tilt etc.

That looks logical. Problem with doing things like that is it automatically opens you up to accusations of colluding, whether real or imagined.

well im in timisoara next week and i will ck out with some friends about how they fund accounts and internet cafes and stuff and i will let u all know what i find out

Just got back from Romania yesterday, checked out with some friends and trolled round internet cafes and wireless points -
1. true some cafes do use one account for multiple users, you pay before sitting down and then the owner pays u out if you have any cash left before they withdraw it into their own accounts, they take 10% of any winnings and you get free coffee and cake whilst your playing if your winning, if and when you lose your stack you just close down the comp.
2. there are a few syndicates that have say 20/30 members, they play in groups of 10 on one or more sites and they have players sitting around waiting in case someone has to leave or play for hours and get tired. I sat in a cafe in Timisoara where 3 guys were on one table on stars and won about $300 in an hour or so. Big celebration, def colluding and the other guys on stars just ddnt either care or notice. They always play 2 or more on one table.
3. they change sites every 3/4 days so as not to draw attention, one guy normally runs the syndicate who can pay the guys daily when they leave.
so conclusion dont play em unless they are on their own as they r def colluding and its blatant.

Betfair take all this VERY SERIOUSLY so worry not a thing

Was playing in a $1000 guarenteed last night and on my table were the aliases nonos09 and nonos10 blatantly not taking *****off each other apart from a little bit of standard chip sharing. I obviously questioned it at the time but with strangely no reply!!
This made me look into the full list of players revealing that there was also a nonos02 playing on another table!! So three nonos in one tourney?...Explain that?...Surely you wouldn't be stupid enough to use the same alias like that if you were at it? Mind you he/she was from Romania!! Any ideas??
