the reason you get so many bad beats on here is because there are so many utter donks.
on other sites players are able to fold any ace, any small pair or suited cards, when you have a premium, but not on here.
you can guarantee if you have kk and shove someone will call with ace rag. unfortunately most people only remember the suck outs.
nobody who can play poker to a reasonable standard and knows their level will ever lose money on bf long term. in fact i would say its impossible.

I suspect that the scouse woman, (who claimed to be an avid poker player), on Deal or No Deal tonight was a Betfairian. She certainly had no clue about odds, let alone expectation and value. If this isn't her site - it should be.

Was playing hu on another site.On the 3rd hand i had AA and found myself all in against his 77. He flopped quads. I reloaded. Two hands later we are all in again. I have KK this time against his 55 . He flopped quads again. I reload for the last time. Six hands later i have 66 and raise pre flop. He calls. flop of JJ6. i bet . He goes all in. I call. he shows JJ for quads for the 3rd time in 11 hands. I dont think i get quads once a week. he got them 3 times in 11 hands.

Chipfire is right A player of only average ability will make money on this site long term
There are lots of sportsbook punters who drop in to kill the time between races They get lucky on a few hands and cause damage to the better player but long term the cream rises to the top

Lisa Simpson 15 Feb 22:17 Chipfire - nail, head, hits.
It's the perfect site for the patient, mentally sound, ABC poker player. Take the bad-beats and watch your balance grow.
Great stuff. Whats the best format to increase your bankroll??
Fairly new on here. The sit and go's seem very shallow stacked which surely reduces the skill factor a bit. And ive tried the MTT a few times, $55 turbo, $22 freezout and the $60 freezout which are ok ish but obviously the money is at the top.
What advice would you give vis a vi grinding your roll up. Cash?? Havent traditionally been big on that

I'd say play the format you enjoy, regardless of variation - be it cash or tourney. If you're not enjoying it, what's the point?
Personally I play standard STTs mixed in with D2Ns to keep things ticking over. I would much rather play extended STTs, like the 12 min levels they used to offer on the old Tribeca network, but the standard here is so bad, any type of game will do to be honest.
If you're just starting, imo, you should maintain a strict bankroll management policy. These days I'm very sloppy with this - I'll play at any level - depending on what else I'm doing at the time and how much of my roll is tied up in reality TV shows but to begin with bankroll management is key.
Hope that helps Roy. Good luck!

Not new to poker so to speak just new to this site.
Play MTT's elsewhere ($10r-$62 freezeouts during the week) but there seems a dearth here so may focus on sit and go's when I get a spare minute.
Maybe grind out the $12 ones. See how I go. The D2N turbos at that level seem fairly soft but havent played enough games to confirm this. Rambling now, but yeah I'll fiddle about and see whats best. Ta
