Rachel & Martin have to take all the praise there mate :-) I just followed the action via texts. Did you play against the team of John Taba & Luke Schwartz?
John and Luke were on the other table and got knocked out very early ( Thankfully :) )
When I heard about the pairs format I was initially sceptical about it, but it really worked well and added a whole lot of fun to the event as the 15 minutes on, 15 minutes off gives you a chance to drink and socialise with your opponents throughout the game, By the time it got to the last 7 I don't think anyone was near sober. ( watching the rugby for a couple of hour before hand helped in that )
I had a great time.

What was the qualifying criteria to be invited to this?
I haven't heard of any regular, high caking players getting invited?
