Bruce Stubbs happened, he's gone now like the rest of us.
Highstacks got perma-banned, if he is back, he is keeping a low profile.

Bruce was the boss, which makes him ultimately responsible for what happened. It's quiet here because a lot of people left Betfair poker as a direct result of his [in]actions.

too many threads degenerate into threats of violence, normally by posters who change their user names on a weekly basis.

too many threads where if you offer an opinion, you get shouted down if you play "peasant stakes" because you cant possibly know anything about anything unless you play at the pro levels.

This has always happened. I think the best one was mandylou vs hype when they ended up arranging to meet in a Sainsbury's car park roughly half way between where they lived.

biggest non-fights of 2008 were....

i blame poker q for everything. maybe bruce stubbs too.
