I haven't checked in on this forum for ages, but a couple of years ago, it was a hive of activity. Now it looks like it has about 10 posts a day. Has everyone finally found 2+2 and not looked back? Did the decline start with the end of Crypto and the advent of Betfair's horrible software? Did everyone go bust? What happened?

Bruce was the boss, which makes him ultimately responsible for what happened. It's quiet here because a lot of people left Betfair poker as a direct result of his [in]actions.

too many threads degenerate into threats of violence, normally by posters who change their user names on a weekly basis.
too many threads where if you offer an opinion, you get shouted down if you play "peasant stakes" because you cant possibly know anything about anything unless you play at the pro levels. |

sorry "m" what i should have said was that these days threads degenerate into threats of violence that are never likely to amount to anything.
i accept in the past people have been willing to go toe to toe. biggest non-fights of 2008 were.... 1) punterz vs arb in australia. 2 heavyweights of the forum set to battle it out in the biggest punch up since errr the thriller in manilla. feel free to add to the list. joffy, banking, and ariston sure to figure. :-) |
