Hi Guys, don't post much on here but read it quite a lot.
Thought I'd bite the bullet and ask for a bit of advice. I am pnly a recreational player so feel free to be as blunt as you like, I have no pretensions to be Phil Ivey.
I realise this is a boring Poker post, but I always mess up with JJ - Should I be calling here? Or should I be passing?
I am also not looking for any sympathy or claiming a bad beat, or indeed highlighting anyone else's play other than my own (I think that is all the disclaimers in place now), just looking for a bit of help from someone with more Poker experience than me.

I think it is an auto call, but I cant ever get JJ right?
if u r not sure how to play jj and on a forum asking for advice, what the fcuk are you doing in a $55 dollar event in the first place??? playing way above your level you wont learn much apart from a fool and his money.........................

ps with blinds at that level i would push all in as soon as. if i hit the call button by accident i prob would have still called as your opponent is even more short stacked than u and a raggy ace is gold dust to him. that stage in a shove fest get your *****in and if you get called hide behind the sofa until brave enough to look

Blimey I guess why people don't post questions to often.
Thanks for your advice. I appreciate it.
FYI I qualified as opposed to buy in directly and maybe I have phrased the opening post badly.
Thanks for your time.

I guess that is my point because I made a stupid initial call of 600, when there are two people go in before I act - Is it still a call? Or should I take my punishment for the stupid initial call of 600 and fold. I don't really want to be up against 2 all ins here do I?

Its the 5k turbo the call is car crash and you know that.
Raise plenty to show oppos you cant fold and obviously ship your small remainder in if need be. I prefer this to an all in as the donks often view this as stregnth.

So even after the stupid mistake, it's still a call for you.
I reckon I have just got a mental block about JJ to be honest.
It's just one of them hands that no matter how I play it, I play it badly.
Mind you I don't play other hand any better so I am not sure why I am worried ;)
I guess the good thing about this thread is anyone who didn't have me as a DONK in thier notes now has the chance to update them :^)
Good Luck

So I think it was always going to play out like that regardless of how I played it pre flop. Probably why I was questioning whether I should be folding.
The exit hand at least shows I kind of learned my lesson:
