Bonus makes cakeback smaller?

If you cake $3000 with the cash bonus you will receive $1800 instead of $1200 on a normal month. That's if you chose the $1000 bonus.

It works out that way because you the $1000 is taken off the $3000 for the bonus but you still receive 40% of $2000.
