gl with it ben and please do not tilt and stick to it. you can beat 25/50 over 50k hands in your sleep if you stick to it and dont try swapping to omaha or anything daft.
a good return over 50k hands should be around 4000+ on the month which is a nice return for you and your backers and is easily done if you stick to your own rules. im online most days as you know so if you ever need to moan about a beat or me to have a look at your HEM gimme a shout. |

Good luck with this.
How come you aren't playing heads up games any more? You seemed to destroy these when you played on betfair. |

I have no idea if lenny can play or not but to get around 17ptbb/100 running average is almost impossible unless you are one of the select few imo. |

i'm new to this poker .... so this is probably a really stupid question ....but
if you are a good player but dont have $1k .... why can't you turn $10 in to a thousand and then keep all the profit ...... ?? and why would any body invest in a player that cant raise $1k this way..?? so there it is .....2 probably stupid questions .... I have seen these staking threads befor so there must be a good answer..... please any body with sensible answers ?? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- stilll no answer .......... so i would really like to know how this little venture pans will there be a thread with up dates ?? |

ddomo - Much easier to turn $1k into $2k than $10 into $1k...
After the last updates thread got hijacked by the betfair militia updates on this will be private for backers only. Cheers |

Why would anyone wanna stake someone that has a BB/100 of -2.17 over 11k hands at $0.1/$0.25?
I don't get it. |
|
By:
bluff - u do realise betfair is a gambling site yeah? with that in mind do u think the people posting might like a punt? maybe even class it fun!!
|
|
By:
well said.
|
|
By:
Do you realise that most people generally aim to win money from their punts, and that betting on a losing player isn't likely to achieve that aim?
|
|
By:
easy, they are mugs

Self-same people will also play blackjack, roulette, craps and fruit machines, even when they know that long term the house wins, just for the thrill of it. |

gl my son :) |
|
By:
Yeah, but there is some actuall thrill involved in playing those games. I don't understand the thrill in giving someone £100 then them sending you an email 8 hours later saying "you now have £98".

He's a good lad Marc. If he fails he fails. Don't mind giving him a chance to focus on something. I Think you're also a good lad, never got involved in any of the things between the two of you because, although i haven't met you we always had good conversations on here. I've met Ben numerous times and he's a good kid.
I would also happily help/sponsor/back you too mate, and it wouldn't bother me if you was a winning or losing player if i felt as a friend i could have a punt on you. So just let it go and let 'us' take the risk that we don't seem to mind taking. Cheers mate :) |

didnt he make a small profit last time?
if so - seems okto me goodluck |

JPJ, can you really be that nice of a guy? I haven't actually seen you ever have a go on here at some. I bet you go out and murder people at night though ! I like reading these threads but they never come to much..it's like one huge martingale..if we lose we either go bust or double up and go bust..if we win, we move up stakes to make all the money we think we deserve to make and end up blowing it all.
Be patient and try and turn 1k into 2k. |
|
By:
JPJ is the forum good guy ;) and sorely needed amongst the **ing and insults imho ;)
