Ok so after the last staking period i learnt a lot of things. I learnt i do have the ability to not tilt and have found my own way of doing this. I also learned which games could prove to be the most profitable and which games i can say i beat.
My stats if you have not yet seen them are on the previous staking thread.
After the last staking period i caked $750. Obviously stars you don't get any cakeback as such. I have 27% at full tilt which would obviously make a massive difference if i am caking say $1k a month. This is why i would like to switch the staking over to there.
I want to stick to $25nlh 6 handed, with 40 buyins. $1k. The staking period will last 50,000 hands and cakeback will be included in the totals. The split will be 50/50 including cakeback.
Priority will be given to those who have staked previously and can be sold in no less than chunks of 5% - $50.
All updates will be given via email/msn/facebook and i expect this thread to die when/if i get the stake together.

why ply on an american site u cud ply a euro site with easier games amd bigger rb!

friends (non poker) and family are surely the last people you'd want to ask to assist in a "gambling" venture.

if you are a good player but dont have $1k .... why can't you turn $10 in to a thousand and then keep all the profit ...... ??
and why would any body invest in a player that cant raise $1k this way..??

since this is now a popular issue on the forum would ppl consider taking bets on whether you complete 50k hands (in a given period) and/or make a profit. I am not being facetious, I think that it would be a fun market and may give you extra motivation...

off top of my head 50k hands in one month (any 30 day period) with a profit of any bb/100 would be somewhere in the region of 4/6..1.66..so im backing for you not to do it at 6/4...this probably seems a bit big and anyway you might not want to do it as if you make profit you're happy enough...I'll stew it over...if my odds are way out then someone let me know but I know lots of professional grinders who play 100k hands a month and haven't had a losing month in a year.

Do you realise that most people generally aim to win money from their punts, and that betting on a losing player isn't likely to achieve that aim?

Yeah, but there is some actuall thrill involved in playing those games. I don't understand the thrill in giving someone £100 then them sending you an email 8 hours later saying "you now have £98".
He's a good lad Marc. If he fails he fails. Don't mind giving him a chance to focus on something. I Think you're also a good lad, never got involved in any of the things between the two of you because, although i haven't met you we always had good conversations on here. I've met Ben numerous times and he's a good kid.
I would also happily help/sponsor/back you too mate, and it wouldn't bother me if you was a winning or losing player if i felt as a friend i could have a punt on you.

JPJ, can you really be that nice of a guy? I haven't actually seen you ever have a go on here at some. I bet you go out and murder people at night though ! I like reading these threads but they never come to much..it's like one huge martingale..if we lose we either go bust or double up and go bust..if we win, we move up stakes to make all the money we think we deserve to make and end up blowing it all.

I've not read all the comments on the 2 threads about the staking, And although I also wondered why someone who's supposed to be good could need to ask for this
Maybe this person didn't want to come on here and ask, But has done. I think people are out of order for all the negative comments
