Ok so after the last staking period i learnt a lot of things. I learnt i do have the ability to not tilt and have found my own way of doing this. I also learned which games could prove to be the most profitable and which games i can say i beat.
My stats if you have not yet seen them are on the previous staking thread.
After the last staking period i caked $750. Obviously stars you don't get any cakeback as such. I have 27% at full tilt which would obviously make a massive difference if i am caking say $1k a month. This is why i would like to switch the staking over to there.
I want to stick to $25nlh 6 handed, with 40 buyins. $1k. The staking period will last 50,000 hands and cakeback will be included in the totals. The split will be 50/50 including cakeback.
Priority will be given to those who have staked previously and can be sold in no less than chunks of 5% - $50.
All updates will be given via email/msn/facebook and i expect this thread to die when/if i get the stake together.

hi i'm new to this poker .... so this is probably a really stupid question ....but
if you are a good player but dont have $1k .... why can't you turn $10 in to a thousand and then keep all the profit ...... ?? and why would any body invest in a player that cant raise $1k this way..?? so there it is .....2 probably stupid questions .... I have seen these staking threads befor so there must be a good answer..... please any body with sensible answers ?? thanx dom |

you answered it yourself if this guy was any good he wouldn't need stalking. couiple of mickey mouse results in some mtt's and still milking it.
put him on the cash table and the red mist desends ...suddenly all his cash is vamoush and he is in here scrounging for scraps.. get a job |

you answered it yourself if this guy was any good he wouldn't need stalking. couiple of mickey mouse results in some mtt's and still milking it. put him on the cash table and the red mist desends ...suddenly all his cash is vamoush and he is in here scrounging for scraps.. get a job thats a brutal post...... what gets me is that about 6% of all players show ANY profit and yet everyone who posts on here talks like theyve cracked it......i wish the guy good luck if hes turnin a profit whys so many keen to knock him |

since this is now a popular issue on the forum would ppl consider taking bets on whether you complete 50k hands (in a given period) and/or make a profit. I am not being facetious, I think that it would be a fun market and may give you extra motivation...

off top of my head 50k hands in one month (any 30 day period) with a profit of any bb/100 would be somewhere in the region of 4/6..1.66..so im backing for you not to do it at 6/4...this probably seems a bit big and anyway you might not want to do it as if you make profit you're happy enough...I'll stew it over...if my odds are way out then someone let me know but I know lots of professional grinders who play 100k hands a month and haven't had a losing month in a year.
