It bugs me when people 'tip' favourites but hey ho.
I have it on good authority that Sam Allardyce is being announced as Blackburn Manager Wed or Thu. Dip your bread, from the crumbs I've had to leave anyway.
LOL at this tip he ruled himself out before it was vacant. I know h'e about as 'Onest as 'Arry but I don't think this was a Redknappism especially as they are so close to Bolton who are his club. On the otehr hand he would love to put one over on Newcastle and has more funds to spend and bigger fan base at Sunderland. Big Sam for Sunderland and deffo not Blackbrn imo.

Well as it happens, I did knock it off but I didn't do it on purpose, I musta hit it picking it up, thought the battery had gone actually as its been beeping for an hour.
And in reply, you can take my apology and stick it up your ar se after that message. If you think me saying take it or leave it, I don't give a fk, was directed at you, it wasn't. It was just a general it makes no difference to me who bets on it and who doesn't!
A forum vote please, who started it, me or Dealem? Not me imo and I still fkking apologised.

and staks i took the f88k as directed at me, wrongly i admit now coz i read it as GFY" but ur "GFY" was unprovoked in the sense that i hadnt sworn at you or anyone just before for u to get that idea.

I know the Redknapp family pretty well as does a good friend of mine whos Ma and Pa are their best friends. He had been told that Harry was being lined up for the Newcastle job before Alardyce had even been sacked. He ended up getting some decent prices from various bookies for Redknapp to be the next Newcastle manager before Alardyces' sacking and before the market was formed on Betfair. By the time Redknapp was hot favourite my mate had ended up having serious money on him, and i tried to get him to lay his liability on here, he refused because he was 100% sure he was throwing away money as it was a done deal. The night before Redknapp turned it down, my mates Parents were having dinner with Sandra Redknapp. She told them that Harry had agreed it and that the final stumbling block was that Harry didn't want to move from Poole. Ashley agreed a deal where they would have him flown up to Newcastle and that he didn't have to 'do a full week'. So i got a phone call late that night from my mate telling me of the conversation and giving me the tip to try and 'steal' money from a 100% sure thing. Fortunately i didn't strike a bet. I was absolutely stunned when i heard the breaking news that Redknapp had decided to stay at Portsmouth.....So was my mate :(
Anyway, what i'm saying is that be careful in these markets as even when the closest person possible tells you it's a certainty doesn't mean it actually is.
Bet sensibly ;)
This is a true story about the Managerial market.I know the Redknapp family pretty well as does a good friend of mine whos Ma and Pa are their best friends. He had been told that Harry was being lined up for the Newcastle job before Alardyce had even
one of the funny ones i remeber was my mate is a BT engineer, he had just come form the home of someones daughter, cant remeber now, would guess Coleman but he made it so must have ben someone else. they said whoever it was dad was 100% gonna take the job lol, it had all been agreed etc etc mind u, might have been newcastle not fulham.

JPJ. Funny you should mention that story in your last post. I know a senior odds compiler at a bookmakers who told me the same thing. He lost a packet on the market also, and he nearly always cleans up on these markets!
Moral of story, never bet on these when HR is involved!

I did also get told that Souness/Blackburn hadn't even spoke which appears to be the case. However, Pajama speaks wisely again. No matter how sure a bet, we should never bet amounts that will seriously damage our bankrolls. And me and Dealem were only playing around really ;)

LOL Nid YEEEE HAAAAA ONE MORE TIME :-) Actually it was all the 2.16 down to 2's - about 550 in total :-) I'm a mug for a Tip though - could easily have went South. Souness apparently hadn't even talked to the club so it seemed reasonable.

if you really put 550 on at just better than evens on a tip on a forum then you needn't have bothered typing 'for a tip' after 'i'm a mug'. congrats on your win tho.

Correct Easter - but the tip on the forum wasn't the only reason - it just tipped it over the edge for me i thought it was less then 50/50 shot. It's all recreational :-) Don't worry m8 - i'll s punk it off on something else :-)

Sam spoke with Sunderland today and was about to accept the job. However, news that Ivanteacher a local Sunderland resident had placed a bet spread quickly round the "town" (even though he didn't tell them till it won).
Sam immediatley seen the error of his ways - rang Blackburn and begged for the job.
THAT IS FACT _ NAP :D

If current fella keeps doing well, who knows, they may just keep him on. They are playing so much better under him - noticable difference. Keane must have been a proper tyrant - that's all I know.

I won't be getting involved, but what a strange choice for manager. Failed at a championship team and now good enough for the Premiership. Maybe Burnley see something in him that everyone has missed. Brave move, so credit to Burnley for that.
