Are they still doing deepstack tourneys at the vic?

If any1 knows tourneys at empire would appreciate it if some1 could let me know.

Vic schedule is

Wednesday - 10,000 ***** 30 min blinds £200+£22ish, 7.45 pm

Thursday - 7,500 ***** 25 min blinds, £100=£12, 7.45 pm

o.k i just found out all the info i needed, so tomake this thread worthwhile how is the £112 deepstack on a thursday. how many runners usually, quality of players, blind structure?

weakishish fields, 50 plus runners usually

Looks better than the £112 at the vic on a thursday.
Any1 been to this and once again same qs, quality ofplayers/ field sizes.
Never played at empire, any gd there? i here lots of drunks coming out of clubs latesaturday night brings lots of easy cash games. Any1 confirm?

mmm sounds good and low reg fee also which is good

empire usually has a lot more loose players willing to spin it up, easier than the Vic in terms of quality of players

interesting to see the Empire hosting all of their mtts bar one at the sub £30 level - not very profitable but should bring the punters in

I just read on a forum that they changed it from 25 mins to 20min blinds, you think this will still play well or crapshoot towards end.

which u think will play better presuming they have same blind structure?

saturday night tourneys at the empire (70 freezout) are capped at 50 players so u need to get there early to reg.... last week had 10 players reged ats alternates before even started so v early is recommended.... to be honest although its not bad tourney dont like payout str... pays top 9 and 1st only gets 1000... maybe im tight but just dont seem worth sitting there for 7 hrs to win...
Cash games are good but only 1 2 £ games and be aware the standard raise is 15£......

isit true that it has been changed from 25mins to 20 min blinds. there website still says 25 but ppl on forum saying its now 20. do u know?

not sure bout bl levels i havent played it for few weeks... was 25 mins but dont know now... i wanted play it last sat but couldnt get seat as already full with 10 waiting so played cash instead...
good place to play but if u playing cash be prepared for LOOSE action... gl ....

I came 2nd in the deepstack last Thursdasy. There were 68 runners and I won 1620!

there is underground carpark on whitcomb st... if u a member costs £10 for as long as u want... but if outside of times i suggest parking single yellows after 6.30 its free... if u can find a space...

no :(. they would only deal giving themselves 2300 and me 1900 with even stacks so I refused. Hu lasted an hour as they were eaither shoving the flop or folding and I didnt pick up much anytime they did. Eventually they raised to 46k with 16bb and i shipped in 250k with a9 vs aj. lost 40k i had left 2 hands later
