Help, breaking a rule (worst kind in my opinion)

very very bad ettiquette and if i was called the player would receive a minimum of a severe reprimand with a maximum of a time penalty depending on the players experience and previous conduct

i once looked at a players cards in a cash game when facing a bit river bet in a strange pot after a long long day, he was an older player and i asked him whether he had two pair and he said 'go on then have a look at my cards' and naively i took him on his word and looked at his cards saw he was beat and called the bet

the floor manager was called over and said the other player would take all money in the pot prior to the river and the river bets would be annulled. i was also given a warning which was fair enough imo and i made it clear before he was called over that Ii was happy to abide by any decision he made as I was at fault

however i think my situation is very different to yours as your situation is blatant **ing whereas mine was an honest mistake. he has to be given a verbal warning minimum and also a time penalty

I would get my knife out (not that i got one) and chop his fkn hands off!

Or pick the table up (not that i am strong enough) and bash the ** on the head with it!

i would hope the td gives the maximum penalty possible. personally i dont think disqualification is too harsh. if it happened to me and the td gave a "gentle reprimand" i would almost certainly kick off in the same fashion as mt st helens. if not resolved i would never return.

there is a scene from a movie called lucky you where this happens and my blood was boiling seeing it.

I'm pretty sure I've got the picture, I knew it was serious anyway. I just wondered if there was something formal in the rule-book.
