Im looking to go on holiday around either april or may. Went to vegas last May and said i was definately going back may2010.
Then a friend whos going with us started mentioning about Miami and cancun for spring break and after looking at clips on youtube they both look crazzzzy.
Main point of the trip is for clubs and girls and gambling aint really a big thing on the agenda.
Was wondering if any1 here as done either miami or cancun and have any oppinions on which of the three places i should choose.
btw we are all 21-23 year olds.

If you do Miami/Cancun then you'll regret not doing Vegas, and vice versa.
So do Miami or Cancun, or both, then book a week in Vegas.

Miami or Cancun would be fantastic but think about 12-28 March as it is the time for the US Uni spring break. It is legendary, as they say and you are the perfect age. It is something not to be missed.
ysoser are u saying mia/can is way better than vegas or the opposite?
for a non gambling holiday that revoklves around sun and partying and fit birds, you couldn't have a better combo, altho if on a budget stay longer in cancun than mia
and from experience i couldnt think of anything worse than spring break, 18 year old american birds are far more annoying than 18 year olds anywhere else in the world and hotels will be thru the roof as well as many having an over 23 rule
Beaches are nicer in Cancun than Miami. You've done Vagas and will surely do it again, but this is something different. I am speaking of US Spring Break time tho and both M&C are big venues for that time.
i made it sound as if we was gonna go to both miami and cancun i actually just meant 1 of the 2.
From responses iv had here and elsewhere it seems like both cancun and miami are better for the type of holiday i want.

Nothing more than Spring Break in the Miami sounds worse to me, but when I was that age it was a trip. Times may have changed, but it was all good fun way way way back when. Think he might enjoy though since clubs and girls are his main agenda.
south beach is probably better, but a bottle in a club is 350 unless u fancy lining up for 90 mins, i think not, whereas coco bongo in cancun is $50 all u can drink and is nuts
Vegas has all the other 2 do and lots more.
Miami not a place to go on a budget IMO although have no clue to whether you have a few $ or not.

you wont want to do the spring break thing at any other point in your life... you will lose the party buzz at 25 if not earlier,

You've done Vegas so I would do Cancun. I do not rate Miami. Some nice enough areas, but can be a bit of a dump in most. Great beaches and nice pools with sea breezes in Cancun which Vegas lacks.

The beaches and water are stunning and Cozumel and Playa del Carmen are only 30mins away . All mad drinking party places with crazy American (young, fit) women looking for fun.

Have had chat with my mates and its seems like cancun is a unanimous decision.
After looking on youtube it seems like cancun is crazy 24/7 wheres vegas sort of gets crazy at night.
Also a major thing seems to be the age range in cancun where every1 will be our age as vegas is pretty much an older crowd of people. Mite stop me losing loads of money on craps also.
As there was like 5 of us planning on vegas we was intending to get bottle service everynite, is cancun clubbing similar, meaning tables/bottle service etc??

as an eg we went to liv in miami, got "hooked up" with skybox, 3 bottles all in for $1500.. bill still came to $3500

From what iv been hearing cancun is quite alot cheaper than miami so it gets even better.
Does any1 happen to know of any good sites or forums for finding out info on spring break in cancun?
Qs like: Best places to stay for party atmosphere, dates, places to book holiday from, is visa needed, any vaccinations needed etc.

If you are looking for US spring break info then look and ask your questions at the below link along with changing your dates cos after 1st week of April you are out of luck as all back at Uni then. If you are looking for breaks during spring time then they may still be able to answer questions or ask a travel agent.

Yeah i realised that spring break is during march so it now looks like im going away then, the play of may/june was only for vegas anyway.

NP, sure they will be able to help more than a poker (???) forum. Have fun and hope things have not changed too much since when I did it. Take loads of Solpadine plus or Nurofen plus with you!!!!!!
seriously....whats wrong with skeggy????? I have a luxury caravan there available for rent at 100£ pw... if u and ur friends are interested give me a shout....
cancun is way cheaper clubs/drinks wise but to get a holiday there for a week your looking at like £1200 per person for a 3-4* hotel, whereas in vegas you can get a suite at either wynn,palazzo for even cheaper.
see how much a night out costs in vegas compared to cancun tho, costs u $100 to get thru the door of a top club
nightlife in vegas sucks a bit if it is non-gambling. The bars in the casinos aren't great because the drinks afe free if you are gambling and quite pricey if you aren't so not many people willpay for them. Okay you could go into a coub but the queues are long and you will have serious trouble vgetting in without bottle service if you are all male.
Probably much much easier to pick up women in cancun too as they will not all be looking for the highroller prepared to spend 400$ on a bottle!

I disagree nightlife in vegas is fkn awesome. I go to clubs in london movida etc. and vegas blows them away TAO, XS etc. BUT it is expensive and unless you willing to shell a few grand out(while on hols) will not be as good. The whole idea of going to vegas is to be a player and live it up.I would say cancun would be perfect for you guys
