I played a handful of HU games on here the other night and it was the first time I had played here for months. All I will say is I'm amazed at the loyalty shown by some people. From what I can see there have only been negligible improvements since Betfair launched the software. They gave us detachable tables (to bring it in line with every other site known to man) and thats about it. The problems mentioned by Mavis et al have been repeated on here umpteen times but it is clear that they do not give a ** and do not listen.

Come on - surely there must be someone left who still wants to defend Betfair ? ;-)

(p.s. - ty Betfair for letting me have a few big winners last month!)

well, to be honest - i've hardly played any of my poker on the site for ages. The odd entry to the 16k or the thursday $20k but that's it basically.

there are just so many places to play that are nicer on the eye.

i dont know the full details of both ben and ruru leaving (ben is still there BTW)
but as opposed to thinking that they are getting any blame perhaps it could be that they werent getting listened to ?

that would make the most sense to me

who knows mandy...

however, if the head of poker at betfair can't change or direct the poker offering then he is right to go. can't take responsibility for something if you don't have the authority to manage/direct/change.

I know that ben is still involved and hope ruru is well and happier :)

If the players on betfair werent so bad then everyone would have left!

I geuinely don't understand why people waste their time complaining. If stars is a better site with more liquidity then play there, if you get a better rb deal at full tilt then play there.

I play 1/2 NL and thats all I play, there ar fish here and soft tables so I'm happy - if that changes then I fire up FT. If I wanted to play a big multi on a sunday I play stars/FT. Surely it is that simple? why try and bother with it here if you have a problem with the offer?

P.S. I am sursprised they introduced blackjack and dissapointed as it is -ev for me and against the betfair brand (I haven't played it but I assume it is +ev for bf and they are acting as bookies here?)

Yeah AJ. He lost 82K and tried to blame it on a 'bank error'

No 12 plays of Christmas is a real shame that has been a superb promo in the last few years.

The fact you can deposit/withdraw to your bank account without having to pay a third party proicessing fee is an awesome feature imo.

Terrible site now . I would'nt know how to improve it , as the saying goes you cant make a silk purse out of sows ear.
Sad as the chat and games on here used to be a crack a couple of years ago.

As others have said far better poker rooms out there , so no real problem as I dont play here anymore but a complete f up of a missed opportunity by BF .....amazing really how a online gambling co , with all those clients in a online poker boom can manage to spectacularly mess things up.

Well I am back and it seems pretty much everyone is in agreement with the sentiments on this thread. So for one last time I am going to put up a suggestion thread, and tomorrow I will email the contents of both threads to Betfair, and await their response.

The Aussie points thing at the moment is good its a step back to what used to happen. All the recent cash promos have been a farce basically if you were a raker you don't get a thing so it was just promoting it to smaller players whos cake probably wouldn't be much anyway.
For me the tourney schedule is poor the tournaments finish 2 late with the structures being to slow. I mean the main nightly competition. I final tabled it and it finished at 2am i work thats far 2 late. How can a site like betfair not be able to accomodate a 100k every week and it not cost a $1000? 500 should be fine.
On the plus side withdrawls are excellent best around and you feel money is safe no matter how much you have in there.
