If I email them now about womens cross-country, I get reply about 8PM "I can guarantee that womens cross-country market is now unsuspended" They should have on-line customer service because I think there is lot of us who doesn't want't phone them and talk english because writing it is hard enough.

Don't know if any of you guys use Twitter, but I've found the Betfair Helpdesk account to be very prompt in sorting out market queries - much faster than waiting for them to reply to your email. You can find them here:

helpdesk answered they won't offer nordic combined this year because of poor performance. Markets had more liquidity than ski jumping though. If you are as unhappy as I am please all send them mails every week!

it's pretty rubbish service from betfair. particularly annoying when i've rolled out of bed for it. they've probably reasoned something like the unusual format of this race might confuse some newbie and thus we aren't going to offer it. then they don't tell any of us and ignore the fact that this sport is completely confusing for a newbie anyway. covering every race which is "live" (or a few seconds behind the online flash timing) on eurosport is vital if they want liquid markets.

they won't offer markets for men's race as well as they replied to me, this is really unacceptable. The format can't be an excuse, we have this for years now, what will they do on the Tour de Ski? I haven't seen such a poor service on CC for 2 years at least.

I'm with you entirely bb66 - fed up completely with Betfair constantly not having markets up. How can they possibly expect people to seed a market without one.

Where is the market for the Women's Super Combined at the World Championships this morning? Ridiculous - it's not as if it's some minor meeting.

Really poor customer service. For me they first promised to add markets but then when I asked again they answered that they no longer offer NC markets. What is there to lose in bf:s point of view?

It shows a lack of understanding.  I wouldn't have bet on it but I enjoy watching it and noticed there was no market.  If you cover the World Championships you should cover every event in it.  It's part of the package.  300 people employed in marketing (although soon to be much less) but not enough people employed in market operations to put up and settle the market.

It's the difference between providing a service that shows you care about the product you are offering and providing a service that makes it look as if you don't care.

Today there is three events but no markets at all. Very annoying, I hope that they cover every event in Olympics though.

yes but luckily enough we have 50 different markets for football games and bowls and v8 supercars and 100 icehockey games/day with five different markets in each fixture... :(

BF refuses to offer markets for today's CC WC final

I think they don't offer markets today because couple of years ago in same event they unfairly voided markets. Market was for fastest time and some people played for FPTP. Even though there was addition in normal rules that market is for fastest leg time, BF voided bets.:
"“In the interests of maintaining integrity and fairness in the Markets we may, at our sole and absolute discretion, decide to suspend betting on a Market earlier than anticipated by our Rules and Regulations and/or void certain bets or a Market in its entirety.”

FPTP seems to be no issue nowadays, after some years they realized how handicap races work, but my request was anwered as follows, which is clearly wrong:

We will not be offering individual markets for Falun today as the race will determine the WC Outright market.
